Just what I expected, It arrived and was functional. Works great
I must admit that i received the package twice after receiving a report that it arrive with only one mallet. they were staggered in the package and I need the seller to contact me so i can pay for the additional mallet. the seller responded very quickly and reshipped it and im very please with the customer concern and speed they operate. I'll post photos a bit later.

Sturdier than Felt Mallets for Cymbal Use
Here's the thing. You can use traditional felt-head timpani mallets for suspended cymbals, but the circular ridges on the cymbals just eat up the felt head. The mallets are good until the heads are worn away, and then it's all downhill. Worse yet, I have not found a source for replacement heads -- it seems like you have to buy the whole mallet if you wear out the heads. (I could have sworn those replacement heads existed once upon a time . . . )These cymbal mallets have a sturdier and less fluffy head, wound with yarn, that tends not to fray when the cymbals are played. This is a big plus. The tradeoff is that each mallet hit is more defined -- unlike the fluffy felt heads -- and so a more nuanced technique is needed for smooth-sounding cymbal swells. In an ensemble situation this tends not to be a problem. These appear to be sturdy and well-made mallets. They are also quite long, and will stick out a ways from typical stick holders. It's not really a problem.

Cheaper than Vic Firth beckens but better!
I didn’t know what I was getting into when I bought these but I really needed a new pair of cymbal mallets, they were the cheapest and they were made by Zildjian! The largest cymbal manufacturer in the world! I was worried because the heads on these mallets are small compared to beckens but they still had the weight and the thicker shafts of the beckens! Despite the smaller heads I felt like these played much better than the beckens ever did when I tried them!

Top notch sticks and at a great price
The media could not be loaded. Really love the sound these sticks help create. I’ll never buy any other type.

These worked perfect!
I've had several different mallets through the years, that I used for cymbal swells. Most of the mallets were a bit too hard of material to give a proper gradual swell. The Zildjian cymbal mallet handled it just right. Absolutely satisfied!

well made!
I was expecting a "softer" mallet, but when I used them, they were perfect. A great mallet!

Exactly what you need. Well made.
I can't imagine a better cymbal mallet. Perfect weight. Should last forever.Excellent option for recording. Way less obnoxious that a stick strike. As a producer I love these mallets. Not just for classical music.Any rock drummer without a pair of these should not be allowed in a studio.
