Q: Whats the biggest diameter lens this can go on?

The ring light attaches directly to Canon 60 and 100mm f2.8 macro lenses. I believe it can also attach to other lenses using 52, 58, 67, 72mm ring adapters. But, I have only used it on the Canon macro lenses.

Q: I have a canon rebel 18-55mm lens, will this flash fit or will i need an attachment.

To use the ring lite, I had to get a Canon Microlite Adapter 67 for my Canon 18-135mm lens and Canon 100mm macro lens

Q: will this ring flash fit on a 58 mm macro lens and if not which adapter should buy?

It depends on the specific lens you have. This flash attaches to a flange on the lens barrel with a pinch-lock mechanism. If your lens is designed to work with this flash, it should have the flange already. If it is not a Canon lens, you will undoubtedly need an adapter. Look at this one: Macrolite Adapter 58C for Canon G2, G3, G5, G6 & Pro1 Digital Cameras. One of the reviewers reports that he used it on a Tamron lens, so it can be used on more than just the cameras specified by Canon.
