I would purchase this again 🙂
Nice, full brush.Has some weight to the handle - more than any brushes I've had before.

Heavy, but works well.
The first thing I noticed about this Brushed Aluminum Foundation Brush from Mirabella was its weight--it is significantly heavier than any other makeup brush I have used. And I'm not sure what the point of that is, particularly because slow/repeated application seems like it would lead to a tired hand. But for everyday use, the weight isn't anything but a surprise when I pick it up. The brush does seem to be very solidly constructed, with no loose or spinning parts to the handle. The bristles are all securely attached and I've experienced little to no shedding during both use and cleaning. The bristles are soft across even sensitive skin, and overall the brush picks up and applies foundation effectively. The smaller brush head means you need to work more to ensure a consistent look without streaks, but it also means you waste less product across a larger brush head. And although I think ease of use is more important than aesthetics with makeup brushes, the burnished aluminum of the handle is certainly very attractive when sitting on a vanity.

Would be a nice brush if the handle was weighted properly, but it’s not
I got the “Small Crease” brush. I have really small, really hooded eyes. I like smaller brushes, and this seemed like it would work great! This comes in an outer product box. It is made in China. It says it is not tested on animals, but doesn’t have any certified logo. Inside, the brush is in a plastic sleeve. This brush is HEAVY! The handle and ferrule are silver. I honestly can’t believe how heavy this small brush is! It’s crazy! It has a weighted handle. I usually really like weighted handles, they give you more control. But, this is weighted totally wrong in my opinion. The weighted part is far too long. It’s half of the handle. Instead of just the end. It makes it so you have to hold it in just the right spot to get the effect a weighted handle should give. You should be able to do it better. It makes it super annoying. The hairs are extremely soft. I didn’t have any shedding. They seem to be cut evenly.Like I said, I got the “Small Crease” brush. It’s a kind of pencil brush style. It is rounded. So, it works well to pack color on, but will also work to do precise blending in specific areas. With my really small, really hooded eyes, I love that! It also works to apply shadow on the lower lash or smudge liner out.I’d love this brush if it was weighted properly. I have tons of makeup brushes and so few with weighted handles. I like the control a properly weighted handle gives. But, this one is weighted so weird with way too much of the handle weighted, it actually gives less control. So, it’s not for me. It’s a nice brush otherwise. But, at $20 for a single brush like this, it would only be worth it in my opinion if it was weighted properly. Since it’s not, I can’t recommend it.

Highly recommended brush
This is hands-down my favorite foundation brush EVER. The Mirabella Brushed Aluminum Professional Makeup Brush - Foundation Brush, for whatever reason, is perfect for me. It applies every single foundation and facial veil smoothly and beautifully over my skin. I can't figure out why it works on me so well. The bristles don't seem to be packed more tightly than other brushes, but the way the brush moves over my face smooths the makeup into a flawless, yet invisible, silk sheen.Perhaps the shape is slightly different than other brushes. I don't know. Perhaps Mirabella uses very good bristles. Whatever it is, Mirabella has made a foundation brush that works for foundation, AND for my undereye concealer--and this brush works under my eyes better than any concealer brush I've ever bought. And I've bought some very fancy brushes in the past.Very highly recommended. I've tried several types of foundation, and it seems to work very well with all of them.

High quality brush
I just can't have enough blending brushes. I need my shadow to always look well blended. I'm impressed with this brush. First that metal handle is amazing. It's sturdy and metal yes, but it has the perfect weight to it. It balances perfectly in my hand. I hold it lightly toward the bottom of the handle to get less control and a beautiful blended look. For more control I hold it further up and this handle allows you to balance the brush just right for what you want to do. I call it the brush that blends your shadow by itself lol. As for the brush itself. It's a soft synthetic brush. No shedding during washing. It had the perfect density and is just perfect for blending. It picks up the shadow just right at the tips of the fibers. If you're a makeup lover I highly recommend trying this. I have other high end brushes and this one seems to work just as well. I'd love to try more from this brand.

Cheek Contour Brush
I love the shape and width of the bristles on this Mirabella brush, it's great for any cheek width to apply and blend and contour. Honestly, the bristle density and share are as close to perfect as any blush brush I have, and I have MANY.But, it's so heavy in the hand. It also is weighted heavier in the back. I have to actually hold it closer to the end to balance it and use it properly. In the morning it's honestly the most annoying part of my makeup routine. It leaves me annoyed into my day too, having to hold it differently because it's not evenly weighted means my application takes longer. And while I know in my head, its really only taking a few extra seconds - in the mornings - every second counts, and it just annoys me to no end. It's so pretty, (and to note, my favorite eye shadow blending brush is by mirabella with the same brushed aluminum handle), but this blush contour brush with it's weighted handle is mostly a deal breaker. So unnecessary.
