LEAP Football Referee Timer Sports Soccer Game Coach Wrist Watch

This watch literally saved my wrist from a more serious injury today! I was reffing a soccer game and during pregame, while getting a moving dolly off the field, part of a steel arm came down 180 degree and struck me in the wrist, hard! It struck the watch directly, deflecting the blow to my wrist that would have caused a serious contusion, if not a fracture. The face of the watch didn't even break, and just had a stripe of red paint, where the steel made contact. A little GooGone took the paint off and the watch is still fully functional. Worth its cost, without a doubt.

Difficult to set countdown timer at first but the more you use it the easier it gets. Works well

Pro's: its a ref watch and has and added time feature that will count up when you start it. This time gets added on to the end of the countdown.Cons:1. When setting your time you can only go up. In my league we go by quarters, and I referee different age groups. If I am refereeing a 10U and need to set the quarter for 12.5 min and its currently set for 15min. I have to hit the UP button all the way part 99 before it continues to what I want, and if you mis-click and go past it. Considering how technical this watch is they have a button thats not being used during this setup.2. The audible is very low. ***HIGHLY RECOMMEND***I've been a football official for over a decade, at the high school and collegiate levels. I love this watch and recommend it all of the time, for officiating football games.I am writing this review as I'm about to purchase my second one. The first was bought approx 5-6 seasons ago, using it for varsity and college games, and still works perfectly. For the abuse my first watch had taken, I'm purchasing a second as a precautionary backup.I have zero complaints. The features I find most useful...-Count up/down are simotaniously visible-Separate buttons to control up/down independently-Easy to adjust the countdown for different levels/quarter lengths-Count up timer for timeouts, play clock, etc-Beeps at 30 seconds, (only during beeping) single press the button to stop beeping and continue timer, or double press to stop timer-Buttons easy to press with thick gloves on

This stopped working after 5 games (and no use outside of games). The screen is now locked, and I cannot change the mode. Happened just as I was taking field for a match. Luckily, I always wear two watches. The return policy is less than 30 days as well, which is disgusting and should not be allowed to be a part of Prime.Additionally, the instructions are vague for changing the length of periods.

Very easy to use. Worth it for JV games when you forget your readyref

I think it's a good design overall. Setting it up and use. You need to use , or practice operations to operate through the settings. I had a couple issues with this watch. The wrist band pin wanted to slide out ( not staying in place ). The other was the battery died in 3 months. Normally they last a couple years :-( not this one. I would take a chance and buy again.

The watch works well for tracking time and timers, so it does what it is supposed to do. It is also the minimum quality product that could do it. If you are looking for the absolute cheapest product that will reliably keep track of time, set timers, and run stopwatch, this is the watch for you. If you will be using this outdoors at night the screen is hard to read. Setting timers is a pain in the butt because you have to click all the way to 99 if you want to set a timer for less than the time you are on now (ex. Timer =20min but you want timer =15min, you have to click the button 95 times to count up to 99 then up to 15 from 0.) I probably would not reccomend buying this although there is nothing really wrong with it per se.

Use this for soccer referee and it works perfectly. Love that there is an injury time feature on it to add on additional time. Easy to set up and use. Replaced the battery already but works fine.

Easy to use and the countdown with stoppage time feature is excellent. Only refereeing my kids rec games but really good value for money.

Humidity affects watch.Notvesay to see during night games.Timer should be modified in advance, not backwards
