Rain Bird32SA SAM Seal-A-Matic Simple Adjust Gear Drive Rotor, 40° - 360° Pattern, 19' - 32' Spray Distance (replacement rotor for 32ETI Easy to Install Kit)

Note to self: Mark sprinkler heads! I accidentally ran over the existing head with a scarifier, I’m glad to find the same replacement. I didn’t want to test anything else, these seems to work well enough. Easy enough to replace. Existing heads have been working flawlessly for about eight years with no issues even after winters.

I’m not an expert or in the Landscaping business. I have over the last 45 yrs installed about 8 sprinkler systems, some with 9 zones. Most with both rotor heads & and plain 4 inch pop up heads. I have used many brands of sprinkler heads, I do prefer Rainbird, they seem more reliable over the many years.The add claims it can spray 19-33ft, true but not with the .75 nozzle it comes with. It will only spray 18 ft. To get it to spray 35 ft you need a 4.0 nozzle with 55 psi. I bought a 4 pack it didn’t come with additional nozzles. If I am incorrect, I would appreciate feedback.

Had a low side sprinker head that was leaking a bit and this resolved the issue. If you have a similar issue, I would recommend this product.

Could not find these locally & Rainbird DID NOT HAVE ANY TO SHIP according to their website,but good old AMAZON had them to me in Hawaii and just a couple of days ... and about the same price as mfr & big box stores IF THEY HAD STOCK! THANK YOU AGAIN, Amazon. Oh yeah, Rainbird quality is very good and they are easy to adjust so I have standardized on Rainbird .... 2 acres, 3 systems, 26 zones, over 120 sprinkler heads.

This is the correct replacement part for the Rain Bird Easy Install System (32SA SAM, NOT 32SA, they are different!).It works great while new, but the seal in this "Seal-A-Matic" rotor will gradually fail and start losing pressure over the course of about 4-5 years. Then the heads will not popup because of low pressure caused by leaks.If these were $10 a piece, meaning spending $60 (the original kit includes 6 rotors) every five years to replace them, then I wouldn't have any complains.

I purchased the Rain Bird 32SA SAM Seal-A-Matic Simple from Amazon Warehouse. I had it a little more than a month when I needed it. This sprinkler is more expensive as it as the check valve to keep water from above sprinkler draining through the lower sprinkler. I installed it, (been installing sprinklers for 50 years). Was an orbit fan but their wiper seals wear out in a year and they quit selling replacements. So, here I am with a new Rainbird and it will not allow me to adjust it to just over 90 degrees. The sprinkler just spins 360. I looked at videos and instructions (which were lacking) and nothing out of the ordinary. Now, I am past the 30 day exchange or return, by maybe 15 days.

These are SAM rotor heads, but each one I ordered was missing a nozzle. Not sure if that is mentioned in the product description.

There was a patch on my front lawn that my old pop-up automatic sprinkler didn't reach, which caused this perpetually unwatered portion to die. My options were to dig up the line and reposition the current head, or figure out a way to distribute the water further.All of the sprinklers heads are the simple pop-up ones, so I wasn't sure if I could incorporate this different type of rotating head into the system. But I gave it a shot and, voila, the thing works like a charm. Thanks to the reach of this new head, the grass that previously stayed dry now gets plenty of water. Consequently, I'm going to get a few more of these rotating heads to put them in spots where my current heads are inadequate.

Actualicé mi sistema de riego de sprinklers a rotores, y en un punto bajo del sistema, como era de esperarse, el rotor 32SA presentó escurrimiento al parar el riego, así que adquirí este rotor SAM, y se solucionó el escurrimiento de agua. Tengo pedido otro mas, ya que hay otro punto bajo del sistema en el que necesito poner este rotor. Cumple con su función, y me gustó que trae una cubierta en la parte superior, se ve estéticamente mejor que los rotores 32SA.
