Predrilled the screw holes and the hangers were easy to install. The only minor complaint is eye which the spring clips attach is slightly smaller than the diameter of clip and made hard to install

I probably didn't need hangers this heavy duty, but that isn't a complaint. I don't think my 5 ft porch swing is at any risk of falling down. My only disappointment was that the snap hooks weren't nearly as heavy duty as the hangers.

These are excellent hangers! They are indeed heavy duty and I feel completely confident that they will last far longer than I can imagine. I purchased a set of red and a set of green. Both are brightly colored and add that little pop of color for a playground. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and I would gladly buy them again. Some people are complaining that it does not come with hardware. Please understand that every person's mounting surface may be different. It would be unrealistic for them to include various hardware in the hopes it is adequate for most installations. Plan accordingly and go to your local hardware store.Now to some of my criticisms...1) I had to return one set of them because the enamel did not adhere well to the metal and was flaking off. A small drop and a good chunk of it fell off. The return process was easy but it would be better if they manufactured these with multiple thin coats of enamel versus one quick heavy dip. The two pairs I have already showing signs of wear on the paint and I have only had them up a week. Minus 1 star for that. I should have just got the silver ones and be done with it because the chipping paint is going to drive me nuts every time I see it.2) Within 2 days of use, they started to have a bit of a squeak. It's not a huge deal though because I was going to spray (very lightly) the hangers with a water, dust, and rust resistant lubricant anyway. They are smooth as can be after the spray but they do not require a lot of spray.

I bought four pairs of these for a backyard swingset. They're monstrous and I believe they'd support every bit of 2400 lbs!If you're using lag screws you'll have no problem installing these. However, I wasn't taking chances with my kids on the swings, so I installed them in a 4x6 beam using 7" 3/8 carriage bolts and lock washers. Since the holes for mounting hardware are circular, the square neck of a carriage bolt doesn't have much to hold on to. I think 6 of the 8 bolts I used required me to hold the neck with a wrench while I turned the lock nut as far as I could, then hold on to the end of the bolt with channel lock pliers to get it the rest of the way.After a few days, two pairs of them began to squeak while my kids were swinging. Taking apart the hanger and using a generous amount of 3-in-1 silicone lubricant fixed it. I was impressed to see that the sides of the hanger which the center bolt goes through are threaded. I expect these bad boys will last long enough for my great-grandkids to swing on.

We bought two sets, they're great! I've had them up for a bit over a month, no complaints.FYI: when pre-drilling the holes in the wood for the bolts, use a drill bit that's only 1/2 the width of the bolt. I used one that was about the same size, which doesn't leave enough wood left for the bolt to grip well into and it gets wobbly pretty quick - I had to redo mine. 😫

The clips it came with are junk, so you will need to get your own. 1 week of home use and they squeak like crazy. Do yourself a favor and take them apart before installing and apply a high quality grease.

These are the best ever for your three person swing, no squeezing, no chance of breaking. Awesome

Ran across these while planning to build a swingset for our son. These are 10x better than the cheaper eye bolt types. I installed with 3/8” x 4.5” lags and they are solid. Tested them myself swinging as high as I could with no issues. Confident these will last.
