Very Cute and True to Size.
Bought this for our outdoor strays that come around to have a place to hide out when our rainy seasons comes. Had to assemble ourselves but it was pretty easy to assemble and had clear instructions on how to do so. It seams pretty sturdy and should keep our kitty friends safe and warm during the colder months.

Nice design
Very nice design. Sturdy structure, not flimsy wood per some reviews. And it's easy to assemble for one person. I gave 3 stars only for weatherproof, but this is based on whether you put the condo out in the elements vs. under cover, like a porch, or some larger structure to protect it; it will last many years if it's not sitting out in the rain/snow plus our furry felines will be warmer. I'm glad I ordered it in spring because I gave it two coats of paint, applied caulk where needed, drilled a larger hole in the "floor boards" to allow the outdoor heating pad plug to go through it. Since the condo will be under cover on the porch, I fixed the roof so it's flat, not slanted, so my feral cat can eat on the "roof top" : ]. Before winter comes, I plan on lining each section with that insulation that often gets wrapped around ductwork. And most important, if you luv your critters, use 100% wool for the bedding & never synthetic or cotton material; wool dries super fast if it gets wet & it retains heat so much better; thrift stores are a great place to find wool sweaters, blankets. This is a cute, cute, cute pet condo.

Get what you pay for
Getting 3 stars because of two things... first off the house is on the smaller side, and there is no way for the cat to go from top to bottom while inside the house. That is, unless you cut a hole in the floor for the cat, which then exposes the fact that the wood inside is very thin and hollow. Seems sturdy other than that, was so so to put together.

Good lucking cat home
The home was fairly easy to put together. Easier with 2 people. They didn't prescription the holes, so an electric screw driver or drill is needed. The wood is easy to screw into despite the lack of prep, just need to be sure your connections are straight.I wish there was a larger door on the first floor or a second door, like on the top. There are two strays at my house and really only the top unit gets used. I've propped the swinging door open, to help encourage first floor use.Overall really happy with the purchase.

They LOVE it!
I bought this cat house as an indoor hideout for my kitties. I assembled it easily with a ratcheting screwdriver. The wood is a fairly soft, so while there are not guide holes for *everything* just some things, it isn't difficult to get the included screws to bite. I chose this one as the inner divider is solid, no cutout for anyone to move in between floors while inside. I prefer this so that my cats are pestering one another while trying to nap. I left off the plastic strips on the lower entry and the awning over the upper entry, and added some self warming beds to both floors. They both use it regularly. Big hit! I can't say if this would last outside in inclement weather or not.

Lack of pilot holes annoying in an unexpected way.
So, I read in the reviews that there were some missing pilot holes. I decided that, for the price, I was fine drilling them myself. It was obvious when I opened the box that the wood was extremely soft and wouldn't crack from screwing in the screws directly, and I was right. I assembled this whole thing with a ratcheting screwdriver; however, the lack of pilot holes was annoying for a different reason. A lot of the pieces can be really difficult to place without them! Especially the stairs on the outside! You'd need a special jig to line these things up and hold them in place. Putting the steps together was really hard with no pilot holes, as was mounting them to the outside (there are pilot holes on the inside, but not in the wood on the step.) I thought I had done a good job with the lower shelf until I walked away after finishing the whole cat house, and there's not an easy way to fix it.Also, the box was missing two of the struts for the steps, so I only have the two pictured here, and the whole thing smells like awful chemicals.

Great Product quality and customer service.
I received this product late ...due to Fed Ex, not the seller. They were very responsive in handling the issue and customer service was very helpful. The cat condo was very easy to out together, you will need an electric screwdriver to make it easier. One of our cats was using it the first day! It has rained and everything inside was dry. May create a hole in the top floor so bottom floor can be used as a feeding area. Escape hole is a bit small for ine of our bigger cats and I would have liked to be able to actually use it as a condo.. for two cats. Overall very happy with this cat condo and Ansom Direct.
