Lowes and Home Depot do not carry this size. If you have the right size, it’s simple screwdriver work. If not, you will be returning wring sized covers until you get your measuring tape out.

Really cute lights

I purchased this globe to replace the 16" one that came with the Schoolhouse ceiling light fixture I bought earlier. 16" is way too big for any but the biggest room, and this 7.5" replacement was perfect for my small kitchen. The neck was advertised as 4" across, but is slightly smaller. No worries though, an extra turn of the setting screws and it stays put. Good construction, slightly heavier than the one that came with the light.

This one came packed in bubble wrap as if they had a million of them on a shelf somewhere, maybe in the South Pacific, enough to supply the demand for the next 30 years.It replaced the original (the one I stupidly broke while rinsing it out in the sing - they are very fragile) and looks just like the original. I would recommend it. By the way, it fit just fine on my original Hunter fixture.

1 of the globes was broken and due to a family medical emergency I have not replied. I do not need a replacement but would like a credit if possible. The other globe was perfect
