Thick Trim Basket (Thick Trim Basket - White)

I wanted these baskets for organizing stuff on my bathroom vanity counter. The description says, "Non-toxic: ideal for organizing everything such as cosmetics, toiletries, jewelry, fruits, towels, clothing, and other home essentials" I wanted these for toiletries. Well, they have contoured bottoms, not flat ones. You couldn't stand up toiletries in these baskets. A can of shaving cream? Over it goes. A can of hair spray? Over it goes. How can a person organize anything if it all tips over and creates a jumble? I am very disappointed and will return these. These baskets might work okay for a few hand towels and wash cloths, but not very many because they aren't that deep. Beware! If you're wanting a bathroom organizer, these won't work. Unless, of course, you're okay with just tossing stuff into it willy-nilly.

Ok, well first let me say that I did NOT get these at a discounted price for my unbiased opinion. I liked that they were BPA-free, washable, and durable according to reviews written in regard to the same baskets of other colors. I think I'll like them. Having said that, though, note that the bottoms are flexible and were "domed" when I received them (not flat on the bottom). I have them sitting on the floor separately with weights in each one to level out the bottoms - I hope they stay flat. Also, I ordered the white with pink trim but I received the solid white. I'm not very put out by that because, now that I have them, I think I can "pretty up" the solid white ones better with various ribbons and other embellishments, and change the decorations depending on what I use them for. I also bought a set of the natural color and the bottoms were raised as well. I purchased this item to hold and display items in my craft fair booth and I think they'll be fine for that. But, unless the bottoms stay flat by weighting them down, I'm not sure they'll work well with things that stand up such as shampoo bottles, bottled food items, etc. unless the containers have some weight to them.UPDATE - Well, I ... am ... a ... real ... dope. I forgot I also ordered the plain white baskets along with the ones with the pink trim. The pink ones were delivered today - the two sets of baskets were delivered on separate days. The bottoms on the pink baskets were flimsy and raised too, the same as the white, so I'll be weighting them down to try to flatten them. The good news is that the first baskets I received are looking pretty good after weighting the bottoms down for 24 hours, and I think they'll hold their shape. I expect the pink ones will too. Still not what I expected in that I was disappointed in the distorted bottoms, but the flattening seems to work, so they should be ok for what I need.

I like the natural feel of these great wicker baskets. The color is a soft brown and I use the 3 of them on a shelf in a kitchen island holding various small items. Don’t use much weight in them as they may buckle when you pull them out. They are very large and hold a good amount of items...be it food, dishes or odd items. I find them very handy and good quality for the cost.

Super happy with these! For the price I thought they would be garbage but they are study and the black paint covers well everywhere. No basket peeking through.

Exactly as described, very nice. The weave is not a hard plastic, it is a bit flexible but the top edge holds its shape well, I don't think it will scratch anything. The bottom is flexible, some photos show it uneven, but any item with some weight will flatten it out. The color is a darker brown than the photo as seen on my monitor.

Kind of expensive, but I needed a particular size and look, so Im very happy with them.

I guess I didn't read the description closely enough to realize that these weren't in fact wicker baskets. I was just surprised because they don't hold their shape as well. The bottoms were rounded out, and I guess I'd prefer something that didn't sag as I'm using them in my kitchen for storage on my new island. Depending on what I store I'll have to be careful when pulling the baskets out. They'll do, they are the closest I could get to a size fit. Just wish the bottoms were sturdier.

I needed something to put on top of low bookcases under a few of out windows to make beds for our cats. These work fabulously! They are exactly the right size. With a folded blanket in them, they are just the right height so the cats have something against their backs but can still look out. The baskets are also washable which may turn out to be a good thing, but really I just bought them for the shape and I couldn't be more pleased.
