EXSHOW Magnetic Windshield Mount with 12 inch Aluminum Long Arm for Cell Phones and Mini Tablets(Black)

I drive a new Peterbilt truck. This phone mount is perfect! Seriously, Its just suspended in air right on my dash just to the right side of my steering wheel. It is a lot safer with the magnet. This way I'm not having to use both hands to try to pry my phone off. The magnet is definitely strong enough. My huge samsung 8+ and my iphone 7s+ hold with NO PROBLEM! There is definitely a lot of shaking in my Big diesel Rig so I screwed the smaller holder to the dash. It is SUPER CLEAN. This mount Truly compliments my shiny armor all dash board. I should of bought 2 or 3 of them as gifts for my other Trucker friends. Now they are out of stock. (Send me more) Trust me I am very picky. I need my comfort while I'm on the road. I love the magnetic holder and find this superior to the previous model from the same company I had, which used a clamping phone holder. That model was less convenient, and the plastic mechanism that holds the phone eventually wore out and no longer clamped the phone. The magnet holder is much more convenient. I can slap my phone up there one handed, and it mostly stays in place just fine (occasionally if I press icons on the phone too hard and push it off the stand).UPDATE: My previous version eventually stopped sticking to the windshield and this one did too, after about 18 months. The heat of the windshield on warm days seems to degrade the sticky stuff on the suction cup. But I've kind of accepted that none of these will be permanent (my next will be my fourth).

So far so good! I mounted this on the left side of my dashboard (lefties unite!)... Honda Fit, used with an iPhone 6S with magnetic case.Some have complained of the phone turning downward... I have also found this to be the case, but is corrected by plugging in my USB cable. The audio for Pandora and Waze works much better when my phone is plugged in anyway.If the car is too hot, I can move the phone farther down on the mount and turn on the AC. Quick cooling! Also the left side gets a lot of shade so my phone doesn't get as hot as it would if I mounted it in the center.I did use the sticker for the support bracket as I did not want to worry about scratching my dash...

This is my third try at finding a phone mount that I like and can use. Don't care for blocking the air vent. CD mount damaged the digital screen on my car radio. This one seems to be doing the job without causing more problems. It was a bit tricky getting it into a position that I like, but now that it's where I want it, it's very stable. Time will tell if the magnets are strong enough on bumps, etc. So far, so good!

Jan 2019: Works perfectly and holds my iPhone XS Max steady. Even on rough unpaved roads. The magnet is strong and the arm bends and stays where I want it. The suction cup is strong and even in hot (130deg summer) and 20deg winter) cold days/nights it holds up... get it?8/2/19 Update: I usually clean my window around the mount. But it had been a while so I took it off to clean and now it won’t go back on. The suction cup seems to have lost whatever suction that was keeping it on. Time for a new one. 👎🏻
