The "G Shock" of headphones.
I am a former Trek Titanium user. I am in love with the fact I can hear the head phones but still hear my surroundings. I was in love with my Treks. Until one day I fell asleep with them on and broke them. I needed a replacement but i didn't want to spend over $100 again. I ended up finding the Vidonn F1 and purchasing them. While I was not impressed with the sound quality ( simply because the Trek has a better bass level. ) at first. The sound from the head phones is very powerful. Maybe a notch under the Treks. What impressed me the most about these headphones is their ruggedness. These things can take a beating. I use to make sure every night (with my Treks) that I would take them off my head worried that I would eventually break them. But with the Vidonn if I fall asleep the only thing I worry about is finding it, and not charging it. I have dropped these headphones so many times I cannot count ( carpet, and tile floors) and they still work good. Battery life on standy by is good, but don't listen to too much music while riding the train. The sound quality on a call is very good as well. I have made several conversations while on the rail or bus, and the receiver has no trouble hearing me. If you are an active person? I suggest the Vidonn F1 simply because they will survive a drop, or 2, or 3, or some serious torque. There is no trade off if you are an active person, small dip in sound quality versus durability.Update: 2 weeks ago, lost my Vidonn in the TSA scanner (The machine must have eaten them). Found a pair of Treks online for close to the same price as the Vidonn. I purchased the Vidonn without hesitation. Then bought a second pair for a spare. These headphones in my opinion, are the best out there on the market for the active person, or the night time reader, who may occasionally drop their headphones or fall asleep with them on. I honestly don't think they can be broken on accident from simple mishaps. Even though the sound quality doesn't match the Treks? The Vidonn still has better sound quality than any other headphone. Everyone i allow to put them on loves how they work, feel, sound, and still have the ability to hear. Since my original review? I probably dropped the ones that was eaten by the TSA machine 10 more times, and they still worked fine.

Works great, failed shortly after using it, but I still recommend it for individuals not willing to pay $150 for bone conduction
Bottom Line Up Front: If you don't want to spend $150 for Bone Conduction Headphones... these are a good alternative but you are likely getting what you pay for. These are great headphones. I was impressed. Ear buds have never stayed in my ear, regardless of design and wrap around features. This distracts while trying to run or work out. These headphones solved all of the above problems. The sound quality is not Bose by any means... but that is to be expected. You are trading quality of the sound for the functionality of the headphones and the ability to use them without the hassle of struggling to keep them in place while sweating. The battery charges quickly and I have used it on three consecutive days of running one hour each time without having to recharge them. (This was more than I expected to be honest, but they worked well.Sound and microphone quality was great during phone calls. On the phone, people did not know I was on a hands free device and while driving, I was able to maintain situational awareness. All of this, while being completely comfortable wearing them for hours on end.The bad. Unfortunately, after sweating (profusely) into these headphones.... one side of the headphones quit working altogether. This was disappointing and frustrating (especially as they were advertised as being sweat resistant). I would normally give the product one start for this, but here is why I am not.1) They are sweat resistant, not water proof... Do these things happen, absolutely. Can it be a flaw in this particular headphone and not all others/design? I think so given the reviews of all other customers. So I chalk it up to a lemon. (One Star Back).2) After contacting the seller via Amazon, they responded within a few hours, were apologetic, and offered either a refund or my money back. They seem genuine in their attempt to make things right with their customers. (One Star Back). So here is the bottom line. These headphone does work, they do what is advertised. The product is cheaper than most others on the market, but you are likely getting what you pay for. The risk is minimal though as the company was very responsive in making it right, and this I appreciate.

Unreliable, broken completely within 3 months
I bought this as a cheaper alternative to AfterShokz. While mostly working fine initially, it would sometimes just stop working mid-ride. Turning it off and on again wouldn't fix it, only plugging into a charger (though it would indicate plenty of battery left). The multi-function became increasingly unreliable with use, and then stopped working altogether mostly. Then after just over 3 months, the headphones stopped working entirely. No amount of recharging made them come back to life.I'm very disappointed with the quality of these headphones. A waste of money. To add insult to injury, the retailer I purchased them from - PlanetGizmo - told me to return the headphones, but have not replaced the headphones. Nor have they returned the broken headphones, nor do they even reply to my Amazon messages.Avoid these headphones (and PlanetGizmo) at all costs.

Cause me headaches on the pressure points. Sound quality not great.
Bought these for running so I could safely hear vehicles. Sound quality is “okay” considering how cheap I bought them for (could be better). Would definitely had been returned if I paid full price. Although I cannot get on with them as they cause headaches as they sit on pressure points on the side of the head. Gutted.

Good sound quality and comfortable to wear
They have very good sound quality, battery life is good. The first pair developed a fault after about 4 weeks- however Planet Gizmo the seller were excellent in dealing with this and sent me a replacement pair. I am hoping that this new pair will be fault free!

Battery life is poor
Despite the shortcomings of this bone conduction headphones and mic, I quite like the product. As long as they are charged up, they work very well. I like to be able to hear my environment while I am listening / talking on the phone or a video conference, and these allow me to do so without imposing the conversation on others (although it probably seems weird when I'm talking "to myself"). The mic works well.Unfortunately, there are two shortcomings for me - they do not sit easily/comfortably on my head because I wear glasses and the arms of my glasses interfere with the backstrap of the headset. I'm constantly adjusting them for comfort and hearing. The second issue is battery life. Fully charged, this is a great headset, but during an hour-and-a-half video call (average meeting length) the battery is reduced to 60% at which point the set goes to hell in a hand basket. There is so much 'noise' as the unit stops processing signals properly - I cannot hear anything except excessively loud static (the speaker actually cuts out) and if I am talking, I cut out for my listeners.I've only had the headset for a month, and the battery should have much better life than this (also below what was articulated as normal operating capacity). However, when it is working, it is pretty good. Hopefully it will improve over time.21-02-03 UPDATE: I have downgraded my review to one star and would go to zero stars if that was an option. The battery life is virtually zero now - I get no more than 15 minutes of talk time in a Zoom call with this headset before the static blocks out any conversation. I tried to connect with the company that produces and sells these, but they are in China and regardless of which browser I used, I was unable to connect to their website. The meaning of that is that there is no warranty, and no support. Therefore, I would strongly recommend NOT buying this item. I wasted over $100 and am very disappointed.
