KOKSI Foldable Stainless Steel Colander and Fryer Basket

I used this product to blanche and strain garden veg.Could be improved if wider and deeper.

First impressions....Well I am a bit disappointed in this item. I think it's over priced and a bit flimsy made. It is very big and fits my largest saucepan unfortunately they don't have any other sizes. The handles are very flimsy and slightly bent out of shape even tho I havnt actually used this yet. The holes are very big so this is no good for cooking peas and sweetcorn or chopped mixed veg. But this can be used for cooking things like Brocoli or Brussels.Overall I am disappointed but the item would be used for some cooking just not as much as I hoped for.***********************************Update after using this product...So I used this to cook pasta and never again. The handles did get very hot and the pasta tubes fell out through the holes. Complete waste of money and wouldn't recommend this. Very dangerous for anyone with vulnerabilities.

Hopeless it will not stay up classes when you put things in not sturdy enough

It is not as deep as shown, contents fall out easily. Not deep enough.

I like this items as it has multiple purposes, which is very good in the kitchen. East to clean, very easy to use.

All in all, it’s just average.Not ideal for small veg like mushrooms or spinach as the holes are too big and the small stuff floats out which defeats the purpose of using the strainer.Cannot be used in small pots, only for large pots as the diameter is quite wide.Also if you have this in you can close the lid of the pot as it’s side handles come in the way.It can contain huge quantities tho.Not very easy to wash either due to the foldable net.

Sorry, but this just doesn't work. The 'basket' doesn't expand and hang like it appears to in the photos on Amazon. I couldn't get it to expand much beyond a shallow depression, more like a saucer than a basket, and that was loading it up with potatoes.I wish I'd read the reviews before I purchased.Have returned it for refund, at least buying it from Amazon makes that action pretty painless !
