I tried this as soon as it came! Of course, I looked at you tube videos but it is so easy to use. I would suggest making sure you have the right size for your hair length or even your hair thickness. If you have thin or very fine hair, therootie is the best! I have very fine but heavy in some areas. It was great for the areas that were thinner too. I can easily use this regularly & not need volume spray. I like to smooth the hair on top so there is not the lookof the waffle marks or frizz. It heats up quick & I set it at 220 to start. I ended up at 320 very comfortably. I found my hair stays cleaner at the roots, a day longer. It's nice not to wash as often.This is a TIME SAVER. I cannot imagine not using it now.

I have never been able to get the volume I would like in my hair, and any bit I did, it took a lot of damaging products and would just fall after a couple of hours. My hair started thinning and looking dull and dry. I have tried everything! I had seen this in some YouTube videos and with little hope ordered one. All I can say is I wish I ordered it sooner! Not only has it completely fixed my volume and styling problems, my hair has gotten healthier! I am able to use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners, heat protectant, and a few other things that improve the health of my hair. All things that I would never dare use before because it would make my hair too heavy and impossible to style. It’s so nice to be able to style my hair in the morning, take a nap, work outside, exercise and be able to go out in the evening without having to do anything more than run a brush through my hair. It looks as good as it did when I first styled it! It’s very easy to use especially if you just watch a couple of videos. But if you can flat iron your hair, you can use this! For all who have given up hope, and your hair health, give this a try!

I have been stalking this for a while, reading reviews, watching videos. I finally pulled the trigger. I was skeptical and initially thought it was a lot of $$$! Now I think it’s some of the best $$$ I’ve ever spent, for real. A little about me: 57 yo; lots of hair, but on the fine, slick side. My hair has never liked to hold a curl. at peri- and now post menopause, I’ve had the typical thinning on the top, crown, temples, and sides of head. I despise hair products except to smooth my ends and maybe a very find misting of hair spray to frame my face. . I find any “volumizing”” products to be snake oil. I cannot tolerate any root lifters or dry shampoo on my scalp. They cause itching. In addition, I can’t stand the feel of these products. They feel stiff and gritty, overall a dirty feeling. I’ve tried teasing, but without aforementioned product, it just won’t hold up. THIS tool works. It is very subtle, but just enough to give that illusion of a bit of fullness and volume. If one were to use the tool with any products, WOW! I suspect one could achieve crazy lift, but that’s not what I was after. I am simply thrilled with this tool. I have a slightly layered bob that is shoulder to clavicle length. I almost bought the Rootie size, but after watching many videos, I felt the Petite would be perfect, and it is. It’s just the right size. I’m of the age where I grew up in the 1980s with really BIG hair. lol. I think the current flat crown look is lovely on most/some, but with my particular features, plus my whole face starting to melt/sag with age, I want to detract from my face, not bring focus in on it. Again, I couldn’t be more thrilled! I love it.

Holy smokes!!!! This was far beyond what I was expecting! Huge huge huge volume! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the crimp mark it leaves. Make sure to go one layer under and it works fabulous the crimping marks I was able to flat iron over and they were gone!

I cannot say enough good things about this air tool. It. Is. AMAZING. This is the first review I have ever written for anything I have ever purchased because this does exactly what it says it does and then some!! I came across the ad for the Voloom on my Facebook news feed… I thought the same thing I do about every other product I see that promises results.. most of the time I end up disappointed. I have had extremely fine and lifeless hair my entire life. It only has body when I literally put a ton of product in it, curl it, tease it, etc. My hair has been getting longer and I was to the point where I didn’t even want to wear it down and straight anymore because it was so stringy and flat. I thought what the heck when I saw this. I spent the money. And let me tell you… it is worth it!! I got the Rootie and do from the roots halfway down my hair on the under layers (I clip the top layers out of the way to lay over the voloomed hair). It takes a little practice. I used it for the second time this morning and I have already had a few people compliment my hair and tell me how whatever I did has changed my whole look! My hair looks healthier. It feels healthier. It’s amazing! It has a TON of body! I have messed around with it a bit (it takes a little practice) and the more you use it the more volume it adds, and it lasts for days. I wash my hair once every 3 days and a quick touch up with this tool every day and my hair doesn’t even look or feel greasy by the end of day 3. It literally lifts the hair away from the scalp. It is life-changing for me! Really amazing. To think of the time and money I have dumped into hair products and serums and thickening tonics and the whole time all I needed was this. I will save so much money. All I need now is a spray or two of dry shampoo in between washing and that’s it! Of course I use a heat protectant before blow-drying because I color my hair. But that’s it!! This does not cause heat damage, and that was one thing I was worried about. It really does make my hair look and feel healthier! One thing with it is that it literally “crimps” the hair, so playing around with it is a must. Just my second time using it and I have already gotten really good with it. Using it on the under layers is what provides the body and texture, and make sure to leave the top layers as is to lay over the voloomed hair. Brush when done using the tool, and.. VOLOOM! My hair looks awesome today! I brush it less, too. It does not get stringy like it would normally after a half hour. This will change my life. It will make my life easier! Less messing with my hair and the confidence it has given me is unbelievable. For any women who suffer with thinning and fine hair, I highly recommend this. I have always hated when people would touch my hair and say, “Wow, your hair is so thin and fine..” =| I have always had a complex about it. My hair would get greasy the more I touched it and messed with it. That is all out the window now. My boyfriend was running his fingers through my “thick” hair and saying how soft it was. And I loved every second of it when normally I would hate it! Ladies, give this a try! You will not be disappointed. I am a product junkie and out of ANYTHING I have EVER tried, this is freaking awesome! My sister also has flat and thin hair. I have sent her the link and I am encouraging her to try it as well.
