Great for Stick Chewers
Sticks are the highest value reward for my dog. She'll find them on walks and carry them all the way home. They're the only reward that keep her focus when other dogs are around. So sticks are a pretty big deal for us...After our dog ate a little bit of bark off a willow tree stick and vomited, we knew we had to find a safer alternative. We tried the dogwood sticks and nylon bones shaped like sticks, but she shrugged them off and they were no more special than the regular nylon toys she has free access to. We ordered a few brands of coffee wood sticks off Amazon, but she was drawn to the Pet Full House WoofWood more than the others. It came packaged in its own plastic bag, so when I went to open it there was a distinct wood smell whereas a few of the other competitors were open to the air, smelled less like wood, and were just sent in an Amazon bag.I consider my dog a super chewer. She's a 75 pound German Shepherd/Pitt mix. She can do a number on an antler if left for an hour, so pretty much all of her toys are used under supervision save for hard rubber toys that don't interest her much anyways. If I left her alone for 10 minutes with this stick (or any stick for that matter), it would probably break apart and leave sharp splinters. So if you're looking for a toy you can leave out for your stick obsessed large breed super chewer, this isn't it. Really, though, there isn't any wood product that could withstand most dog jaws given enough time. But if you use this as a supervised reward (like you would a tug), then this is the best one on Amazon I've found.Although the price might seem like a little high considering the sticks she finds are free, it's nice knowing that if she ingests some of the WoofWood it's not going to make her sick. It's also nice that it doesn't have any bark that could come off in your pocket (trust me--it's annoying). All in all, I highly recommend this as a supervised reward toy. I'll be ordering another when the one she has is unusable.

Small and not for heavy chewers.
My dog loves wood chews so I was interested in trying this coffee wood one to see if the material held up better. It did not!! This chew is much smaller than other wood chews you could get for basically the same price. I would definitely opt for a Gorilla Chew instead (pictured next to the chew in my photos). The durability is also terrible. Gorilla chews can last my dog months but this didn’t even last a week. After twenty minutes she was tearing off large chunks. Later on, after chewing it a few minutes, she split it in half (which seemed dangerous so I took it away)!! Much better options out there for a longer lasting wood chew.

An excellent chew for my dog, better than nylabone
My monster’s only love!!! I used to live in the UK & EU, where coffee wood chew sticks for dogs are very popular and easy to get. When I moved here, one of the first important things to do was to find my monster’s most favorite chew toy. He doesn’t like Nylabone or Benebone or other flavored chew sticks. He would just play with them for 1 or 2 days and then never showed any more interest. For some reason that I don’t understand, he just likes these coffee sticks. Guess he’s like me, prefers coffee over tea. I was even thinking about shipping these chew sticks from the UK. Thank God, finally, I found them on Amz. Great price, excellent quality. My monster found his love again, and we both are thrilled. Some comments worrying about the potential danger, and some even threw away when these sticks were just shredded. If you get to know these sticks and dogs’ biting nature, you should know their ability to destroy things in a way that our humans can’t explain. I have been buying these chew bones for years, and normally, my monster often chews on them until they were about 4-5 inches left. Each would last 2-3 months, pretty great deal at this price. The splinters may come off, but they are soft and only get hard when they dry up. So no need to freak out or throw away if you find these small pieces sharp or hard after your dogs finish working on them. In the end, it is the hardwood that makes the product stand out and attracts your dog. Highly recommend!!!

A polished stick
I was looking for chew things for a foster dog I have. I liked that this was natural. I don't know what I was expecting, but what arrived was a polished stick. It was smaller than a baguette in diameter and maybe 8 inches long. It was polished on all areas, or what seems to be polished. No sharp edges. The stick DOES NOT smell like coffee. I wasn't sure about that. I noticed no smell. When my dog chews it, little pieces flake off. It seems very soft, so I don't think it hurts gums if it splinters but it does make a little bit of a mess. My dog did not LOVE It but she does occasionally pull it out and work on it. I have no idea why, since it doesnt' smell, but if you had a dog that was chewing the leg of a table or chair, this would be a good substitute. My current dog will chew or play with anything as she is puppyish. I could see other dogs completely ignoring this toy if they are picky. To me, it seems as appealing as a nylabone but is safer and more natural. I'm not sure the large price was worth it for a polished stick but it's still affordable and a safe chew item. I've had it for over two months and the foster dog has only played with it a few random times. But if you have a dog that loves to chew sticks, I think this would be good because it seems less likely to injure your dog's gums. My foster dog seems to spit out the wood, I don't think she has digested any of it.

Great for the chewer Dog, not great in the house
Bought this for our chewy puppy and she really loved it. She chewed it regularly and really enjoyed it. The wood shredded down as described and it lasted for long time. The problem with this product is the small shards of wood that are chewed off and get stuck into the couch and the rug. They embed themselves and dont come out very easily. This is definitely a good product for outdoors but I would not recommend it for indoors.

Great chew stick!
My dog is a super chewer. He tears up toys that are supposed to be indestructible. He can get through this stick but it takes him some time. I love that the little pieces that chip off as he chews it don’t hurt his stomach. There is no smell at all when he chews it. For reference we have a 45 lb. Goldendoodle puppy. I highly recommend this to anyone with a dog that lives to chew!
