Unplayable!
As soon as this disk goes in there is a really loud vibration from the player. Nothing to do with the player, all other discs are fine. It appears that unlike other 4k discs Universal have printed an image on the top side of the disc that makes it top heavy. All my other 4ks are simply black text as opposed to an image. So glad another reviewer has had this issue. Sending back. It is unplayable due to the noise. Really disappointed. It was due to be a great release.

A trip to the Casino is a must... in 4K
I've been waiting for this to be released on 4K Blu Ray for a while now. Watched on the day of release and NOT disappointed. Seriously, the picture is stunning. Even stuck on my Blu Ray version to compare. Also, the DTS:X soundtrack is incredible too.Just a stunning addicting to you 4K blu ray collection.

Great film. Minor fault on disc.
The movie is indeed a masterpiece. If you like DeNiro and Pesci in Scorsese period mob films at the height of their powers then this film is for you. If you don’t then it certainly won’t be for you.The picture quality of the 4K UHD version (disc 1) is a highly satisfactory remaster from a 35mm negative. Unfortunately, my copy happened to be faulty and halted playback at 2hours07minutes. There appeared to be no apparent reason for this - but several other reviews did report an identical problem. I was able to watch the end of the film via the standard BluRay version on disc 2.I purchased this UHD disc version as a collector’s item (there were cheaper ways of buying it) and would have preferred a replacement over a refund/credit but this is Amazon’s policy. Not sure I feel entirely confident that if I purchased a replacement it wouldn’t just suffer from the same problem.

What a movie
After watching this movie I've decided to take the plunge, move to Vegas and buy the largest casino possible however it must have potential for me to add my own touch to it.It has also taught me to recruit my future partners from the library or church (as it's probably more beneficial to long term happiness) and I've also learned to hide my safety deposit box key containing all my money in the loft at the back next to the old water heater.Magnificent movie with world class acting. second only to Heat and Goodfellas so in fact third.

1ups Goodfellas in its scale, scope and beauty.
Picking a favourite Scorsese film is difficult. Many opt for Goodfellas but Casino matches its excellent dialogue, soundtrack and it too is a sequence of unforgettable scenes. It's a much more beautiful film - I doubt Las Vegas ever looked this good in reality, but it's the scale and scope of the story is what tips the scales in its favour for me however. De Niro and Pesci recreate the double act and are ably backed up by a great supporting cast with James Woods, Don Rickles and in particular Sharon Stone who was never better than in this.

Great Movie - Poor picture quality.
Great movie but the DVD picture quality on the copy I got is very poor. Not just the fact it was letterbox type aspect ratio but much of it appeared out of focus and pulled at your eyes making it an uncomfortable watch. As I said a great movie otherwise we would have given up watching it.As I paid £3.44 it's not worth taking the trouble to return it but If I could be sure of getting a good quality copy, I'd buy it again at twice or three times the price. Disappointed

Superb 4k transfer of this masterpiece.
An excellent 4k transfer of one of the best gangster films ever made. Unlike Goodfellas there is no grain in the picture despite the age of the film. No need to review the film as it’s been done many times previously. Highly recommended if you have a 4k Tv and Blu Ray player. HDR makes a significant improvement.

Another dangerously good concoction of Scorsese, De Niro and the Rolling stones.
There is no doubt that director Martin Scorcese' s previous gangster epic 'Goodfellas', softened the initial impact Casino made on the general public and contemporary movie critics at the time. This time he reunites with Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci, who played similar roles, and throwing in (with great success), 'Sharon Stone', who's performance was much heralded at the time. Super cool Vegas mob movie, that even at nearly 3 hours long, it never outstays it's welcome.
