definitely not it's intended use lol but i use these for magnetic nail polishes to achieve a cateye effect, and it works great.

Works well for nail art!!!
I was looking for a strong magnet to use with magnetic nail polish (for the "velvet effect"). It works very well for that purpose. I haven't used it for any other application, but it is very strong. It's hard to remove the flat metal bar. My husband warned me to keep it away from my computer!
