Getting Grannys Glasses

Lovely family tale in the Himalayas
Granny is a marvel. The story is beautiful and touching and a lovely way to draw children into a different way of life, in the Himalayas. I have dropped one star on the review though as the illustrations, while gorgeous, are a bit lazy in places - e.g. the shirt is shown as a different colour from that in the text, and light bulbs are shown when it should be plant bulbs. I have read the book with several children and they haven't picked up on this, but it is a pity.

its okay.
quality of the book is perfect. And the papers are perfect and perfect illustration however the content of the book is not satisfied just a small story and not much intresting . Not worth of 121₹ . The story just feels like you are reading any small stories in newes papers i previously read ranji the music maker and few other books from ruskin bond they are atleast good they bring your childhood memories back to you but dissappointed from this content. Yes you can read it but nit worthy to purchase and read you can read it if you get the book from any if your friend or libraries etc.

It's fantastic.
This story is simple and short. It's the story of getting glasses to granny by her grandson. The paper quality is very good.Totally the story and pics are incredible.

Nice book for a tinytot!
It's a lovely book. Although my grandson is under 2 years of age he enjoys listening. He has learnt so many words from just my reading the text. It easy for a tiny tot like him to identify things that are simply picturised.I am sure that young children who can read will enjoy the book immensely.
