I am ia photographer using a real Nikon digital. When the opportunity to go to Kauai arose, I knew I'd need a waterproof camera. As this was also an economy trip, I didn't want to spend more than $100. So, with those parameters I wasn't expecting a great deal from this camera. I was very pleasantly surprised. With the absolute must addition of a float strap, I was able to take it out into the water to do both stills and video. I got wiped out by a wave while I was videoing and although the view finder got a few sand scratches, the camera itself came through like a trooper and never stopped recording.I did find it alarming that mositure got under the viewfinder and fogged it in spots, but those quickly dried and as it wasn't internal, no photos were damaged.These are not the highest quality photos I have ever taken (nor was I expecting them to be), but for the price I am pleasantly satisfied.

Camera is garbage. More like a fisher price toy.Does not do what it say. Underwater pics came out horrible

Anniversary trip to Big island Hawaii. Did a Dinner Cruise one evening & then a Snorkeling cruise (same boat) the next morning. Use the camera above the waves (spinner dolphins) and under the waves snorkeling (sadly no turtles). Worked awesome, even when sun was blocked by clouds. So much better than disposable film cameras we used on previous trips.Much easier to see on the view screen what I was attempting to photograph with this digital camera. Images were pretty clear and also able to enlarge a few lucky shots.

Works great in 5ft or 7ft of water.. even used it in the ocean BAHAMAS 🇧🇸.. BUT doesn't zoom-in at all 😒

I sent the first one back due to the battery cover not functioning correctly. I sent an inquiry via email to Vmotal tech support regarding the issue. It took ten days for them to respond. I had a replacement from Amazon by then. The second one, the battery charge light never stops flashing when charged as described in the manual. I am taking it to Aruba for a snorkeling trip. Will update this review on quality of pictures. So far I am not too impressed. 3/30/2022: This is an update to my earlier review. Vmotal Tech Support has contacted me regarding the negative review. They have shown me evidence that they tried to send an email a day after I sent my inquiry that did not that did go through neither did a second attempt. The third attempt did go through. It turns out you cannot charge using an USB AC adaptor Like one from an iPhone. When I plugged directly into the USB port in my Laptop it charged fine and the light worked correctly. They recommend using a DC5V usb charger/power bank.

I got this for my granddaughter for her birthday. She loves it. She really loves that she can use it under water.

Wanted to take this on vacation but the buttons didn’t work when were trying to set it up.

Takes terrible pics above or below but they quickly replaced the camera with a nice camcorder. Give them a try!
