We're doing elimination communication with our kiddo and he upgraded his little potty to this reducer when he was 7 months old. He was instantly so happy on there! It's very sturdy, his little butt fit on there perfectly starting 7 months, and blocks boy's pee most the time (gotta sit them on there perfectly). He'd use the handles when he's sleepy. You do obviously need to supervise when they're on there; they can still lose balance and fall.

Our little grandson loves his new potty seat! And as described, it keeps the urine well contained where it should be. No rough edges for tender skin and easy to clean!

I am using this for elimination communication.My son started just before 4 months and because of the shape, had no problem sitting on it supported. The handles are also a plus because now that he’s a couple months older, he can hold on while he goes and it helps him to steady himself. No pee spillover at the front.

This seat is convenient and works great for our baby. We do Elimination Communication (EC) and started using this seat for our 7 month old. She is able to sit by herself without falling through -we of course still hold her for safety, but the point is it's good for tiny tushies too.
