These (purchased 2) are great and strong for hanging my plants!! I did go into the wooden sill so I should not have any problems. You have options with this since it come in multiple pieces so I didn’t use the elbow or longer pipe and it’s only about 5 inches from my wall! I did use thread seal tape to get the fittings nice and tight! Very pleased with this product!!

At least one other review mentioned it, but I missed it when I ordered this kit: the 6-inch connecting pipe on top is *not* deep enough to support standard hangers (maybe junior hangers would work but I don't have any). I had to jerry rig the kit by swapping the 6-inch pipe with one of the 9-inch side pipes. It's not symmetrical but now my hangers fit perfectly. I would also recommend getting teflon tape for the pipe threads, because it was awkward getting everything tightened at the right levels, and I ended up scratching the finish wrestling with adjustments (before I dug up some tape). All that being said, this rack is economical, extremely sturdy and works perfectly in the small space where I need it.

This was the perfect addition to our closet area. It is very practical and also fits our industries room aesthetic. My fiancé and I love this product and highly recommend it to anybody looking to add such a feature to their home 👍 we did remove a two of the parts because it was sticking out a bit too far but that is why we love it so much ! Because of the versatility of the product🙂

I purchased similar items from different companies, and I have had issues with assemble and install. So, I wanted to try another company, who makes the industrial pipes. However, I have come to realize that like other companies, I have many difficulties assembling this product. First, I understand that this should be self explanatory but instructions should be included. Second, when attaching the parts (which should be easy considering that they screw into one another); however, as I have tighten the parts together and ready to hang on the wall (the flat "disk" that anchors the rack) does not sit flush with the wall. In order for the disk to sit flush with the wall then the individual parts are loose OR the rack is not straight on the wall. I am spending hours on hanging on the wall, which includes patching and repainting holes, just to attempt to install or hang again. My suggestions is these types of items would be better shipped assembled and ready to hang on the wall because not all customers have the same strength to ensure that parts are assembled evenly. Once I assemble the parts, it is even more difficult to remove (or loosen) to ensure the parts are evenly connected.

I really wanted to like this rack, but it sucks. The screws that come with it are awful and simply will not work to hold this rack up. It’s very heavy and I ended up only using the flush part that anchors to the wall and one of the long pieces, and even still it won’t stay anchored to the wall very well. Not to mention, if I did want to use the rest of the rack, more threads would have to be added in order for the pipes to stay tightly screwed together AND line up. I originally tried putting it up as it comes right out of the box and the only options were: either the whole thing is crooked, but the pieces are tight or it’s straight, but none of the pieces are tight. Just all around not very happy with this purchase.
