Adult Coloring Celestial Mandalas Coloring Book (Adult Coloring Books: Mandalas)

The media could not be loaded.  I really enjoy Marty Noble's coloring books and own a number of them. This coloring book includes 31 designs featuring suns and moons. Some of the designs are simply one or the other or even both. Other designs incorporate various figures for a larger variety of coloring choices.I generally color mandalas that are patterns rather than recognizable subjects, so this book was a great addition of something new to my coloring choices. I chose a design featuring the sun as my first project. I colored my design with a variety of alcohol and water based markers. I'll include a photo of it as well as the two colored samples from the book. I do this to keep seeping ink and dents from ruining the pages below.

I love coloring for art therapy and stress relief. So finding a good book with detailed designs is a must for me! I was so pleased when this book arrived and would definitely recommend this to family and friends. I will be buying more of these book from creative haven!I love the designs this book offers. There was 30 beautifully made mandalas available and they all offer a wide range of intricacy. I spent about 3 hours on a page yesterday and it kept me well focused the entire time. The pages seem to be thick enough for markers, unfortunately i only have colored pencils so i cant comment on bleed through. The pages are blank on the back which is great for possible bleeding as well as displaying the designs outside of the book. The pages have perforated edges which remove very easily without tearing the page. The designs have a lot of small spots but it's nothing a sharp pencil or fineliner can't get to. The price of this book just makes it that much more of a must buy for any coloring fanatic!There was absolutely nothing negative about this book! This is very nicely done. I love the art. I gave it 4 stars because I expected to be able to use my ultra fine sharpies with this. It is possible to do but you have to be very careful with the bleeding into the many tiney stars in the drawings. If you are a sharpie marker person this might be more frustration than its worth. I'll be getting out the color pencils for this one.

Marty Noble and Creative Haven/Dover are a great combination, and I hope they are working on a 2nd edition of "Celestial Mandalas".I have just a few pages left before I complete it. I also have some of Marty Noble's other books, all fun and relaxing to color.

The best thing about this book is that the pages are tearable so you can color on a different surface! To prevent possibly color bleed perhaps. Super nice!

It was fairly priced. Received very fast.Nice celestial themed artwork patterns.Always put protective sheet between pages as there will be bleed through with some pens/markers.

I absolutely love this book! I have fallen in love with doing mandalas as I prefer to have rather intricate designs and this definitely fits the bill! I have purchased many books that Marty has done. I truly appreciate her designs.I started coloring a year or so go at the suggestion of a dear friend. I became totally disabled in 2000 which led to me having to give up my career. I suffer with pain every day as a result of my disability and keeping my mind occupied helps me to deal with the constant pain. I’m always seeking new ways to keep myself busy during the day besides reading and coloring has proven to be a wonderful distraction.Over the past year I’ve experimented with types of coloring books and various pencils, pens and markers. I quickly realized how wonderful the Creative Haven books are...the designs are printed one one side, the paper is a nice weight and the pages are perforated. I like to remove the pages which makes it much easier to work on as I can rotate the page to color and not have to worry about smearing the ink. I tend to use either gel pens or brush markers

I have started quite a collection of these coloring books! Creative Haven are by far my favorite. They come quickly in the mail are always perfect.The thick one-sided pages are perfect for marker, gel pens, or colored pencils! They are a perfect evening relaxation hobby for me! combined it with a warm cup of coffee, tea, or hot cocoa for a wonderful evening! =DThere is another Dover Publication's book (exclusive to Michael's) that has several of these images, but it was a dual book with flowers on the other side. I looked around for another Celestial coloring book and came upon this one. It was no trouble coloring the pages again in this book!

LIBRO STUPENDO (ho aspettato tutto ieri invano dopo la tentata consegna di Domenica, ma ne è valsa la pena.. sono mandala decisamente speciali tema sole Luna stelle... veramente ben disegnati e suggestivi. Cosa importante i fogli non sono sottili il che è un ottima cosa
