Lightweight and tough! I'm expecting this will last a lifetime. The lid is also made of titanium. It's a bit squeaky when you turn it, nothing you wouldn't expect with metal on metal (no complaints here). What's great about this bottle is it uses CamelBak threads, so I was able to switch the cap out with a CamelBak Chute Mag Universal Replacement.Neither lid leaks and the carrying pouch also seems to be good quality.

i'm like the biggest fan of titanium ever. boundless voyage do a great 2 litre kettle, i've got two of them. but this expensive titanium bottle went straight in the bin after one day out. every time you open or close the screw top, you get 5 or 10 seconds of screeching like stones rubbing together, or fingernails on blackboard, it's unbearable. i'm a big fan of stealth tactics too, which makes it all the more hilarious. but it's seriously painful on the ears. other bottle manufacturers, like pathfinder and nalgene, have plastic tops on their steel bottles to solve this problem - the pathfinder even has a metal inner cap to prevent water contact with plastic, although every bottle including these titanium ones has a silicon seal in the cap to make it water tight so you're never going to be perfectly toxin free when the water is bouncing in the top, so just use a plastic top or find a new solution because the screeching is unbearable.

Yes the top does screech some. Yes other caps work. Set it up with no problem the way you like and enjoy the less weight, and tasteless drink. I'm loving this for everyday use with a go cap or my hardside hydration cap system. great bang for buck.

I had been wanting a titanium bottle for a long time but was unsure which one to get. I knew I would want to replace the lid to get rid of the metal on metal noise but was unsure what lid worked with what bottle. When I saw this had wide mouth Nalgene style threading I knew it was the perfect choice. The bottle itself is great, very light but strong, good thickness on the titanium so I’m not concerned with dents or anything. I know it will out live me. The great thing is I got a replacement wide mouth lid from WishDirect and it threads on perfectly. Very good seal, no leaks, easy open to fill or drink from. It makes the bottle perfect. Managed to get a Magedon silicone handle to fit on it too so now it’s my go to, take everywhere bottle.
