my 3 yr old just loved it! he likes to read it again and again. well illustrated and beautifully written story about a girl who loves to swim and all the events that she have to deal during a day in (it seems is) a public pool. is actually fascinating how the writer/designer can describe all the fun facts that can happen as of a kid’s perspective, using captivating rhymes and drawings. thanks!

The illustrations are, first and foremost, active and exciting. There are minimal words on the pages, but they are perfectly matched to the movement of the pages and invite readers to enjoy. It made for a fast and fun family read.

The illustrations and text complement each other and a delight to read over and over again. Purchased for my 6 year old niece who is learning to swim and she loves looking at the illustrations and imagining herself in the book. As an adult, I enjoy reading this book with her. Pleased with purchase.

What a glorious ode to the public swimming pool. The language is poetic and rhythmic, and a delight to read aloud, and the illustrations are full of watery movement and textured light. I had a blast reading this with my 3-year-old who is just starting to learn to swim :)

This book has beautiful illustrations and the story is written like a cool poem. My 2 year old really enjoys it. It tells the story of a girl at the pool who loves to swim.
