Carrot Seed Oil by Leven Rose, 100% Pure Unrefined Cold Pressed Moisturizer for Hair Skin and Nails 2 oz

I wish I had taken photos from the before, but I didn’t have high hopes, as nothing has helped me in the last few years, and I have tried everything possible and spent countless money.I have MCAS and a specific allergy to coconut/palm/all derivatives. It doesn’t sound bad unless you’re familiar with it. These ingredients are in 99% of cosmetic items. Toothpaste, pretty much all soap, all shampoos and conditioners, toilet paper, tampons- and all skin care items.Coincidentally, one of my largest symptoms of MCAS is acne, but I can’t use any products… so I’m a 32 year old woman with a constant flare of acne, scars and discolored skin. The triad- yay for me!Pure emu oil is the only thing I have been able to use as a moisturizer, but it’s heavy, really oily and hasn’t cleared up any acne or scars.I ordered this on a whim based on a comment I found that said it helped their acne and they have my allergies.Within one use, my skin looked better.10 days of use and my skin is GLOWING.I’m not using anything else (not even a cleanser) and my fresh scars are nearly gone. My older scars are lightened significantly. My eyebrows started growing back in their bald spots, so I’m trying it on my scalp and hair. My hair is shiny and soft again.I have used up half the bottle in 10 days because I’m using it as a whole body moisturizer and on other scars. My body has a hard time healing wounds and this is working swimmingly. Once upon a time I was able to use a popular brand of scar-fade ointment, but it never worked like this does.I will happily keep ordering two bottles a month to finally be able to go without makeup for the first time in 6 months.Synopsis: My skin looks incredible. My hair is silky again. It has a very faint, pleasant scent that fades immediately. It absolutely works wonders.

So, I bought this oil and some zinc oxide with the idea to make a DIY sunscreen. After reading online that carrot seed oil is good for sunscreen properties, I bought this one since it seemed to be the brand everyone liked. I received my carrot seed oil today and I love the consistency (thick) and smell of it (hard to describe the light, "woodsy" smell, but I like it very much - the light smell goes away quickly). The oil is thick and I started by putting it on the back of my hands. It absorbs quickly and is not greasy at all (despite being pure oil). It went into my skin and left it feeling soft and hydrated.Whether or not I make my own sunscreen (we'll see...), I'm glad I bought this product. I love essential oils and other oils and I really like this a lot. I received it within just a couple days of ordering it, so the seller was very efficient. The bottle was bigger than I anticipated, so I got a lot for my money. I read on the little flyer that came with it, that the expiration is 1 year from buying it - so that's good.All good, I'm super happy with my purchase of this carrot seed oil. (p.s. Just so you're aware, what I bought was pure "carrot seed oil" - not essential oil - that, apparently, is something different.)

I have really dry skin so I'm always looking for a new "it" oil. I used to use carrot seed essential oil on my face and it seemed to really improve the ability of my skin to hang onto moisture, but it was also an essential oil and using it neat was not something I could do every day, so I wanted to try this oil instead of the essential oil.I spent a good ten minutes massaging this into my face and neck a couple of nights before bed, and like any oil would, it made my skin nice the next day - I could massage olive oil into my skin and have the same effect though. Overall it didn't do anything miraculous for my skin - but it is the best hair oil I've ever used. Coconut and argan have been my go-to's for the last year or so, but it's extremely easy to overdo the coconut oil, and when it feels like there is negative humidity here (I live in the desert SW), the argan oil seems to leave a sticky residue at my ends.I think this works well for hair because it's not as viscous as you would expect, so it may be easier for it to soak in than a thicker oil. I can even apply too much at night, so that it looks a little stringy/greasy but it will be absorbed by morning (as long as I didn't go nuts) - not something I could get away with using coconut oil! I use natural shampoo (alaffia coconut with added lemon juice to make it pH balanced (ish...I don't walk around with pH strips) and no conditioner. I use a few drops of this oil in the shower after shampooing and focus on the ends until there's barely any left in my hands, then I work it through the rest of my hair. So far this has worked really well, and keeps my hair from tangling as much as natural conditioners or no conditioners. I'll update in a month or so.And FYI - I have excessively thick, straight hair, with coarse red hairs and fine white/blonde hairs - overall tends to be tangly and voluminous.

So far so good. Haven't noticed a huge difference in skin condition but my skin is not wrinkly or damaged. I do have freckles and a few melasma. I know some people tout carrot seed oil for sun protection - I can say that it does not provide substantial sun protection. At least not any more than coconut oil or some other occluded natural oil that offers around 2-5 spf. I have used it everyday mixed with olive oil as a face moisturizer day and night. There is no strong odor and leaves my skin silky and happy. It hasn't stopped freckles from being out in the sun and I did get a little too much sun when I forgot to wear a hat during gardening but I have used it AFTER sun exposure and I think it helps with drying and healing. I've only been using for a month. I will update my review in another six months should I feel the need.

Quality product with affordable pricing!

The carrot seed oil from Leven Rose really does a good job on my fine lines and wrinkles. I saw the difference after the first day! I'm 43 with a very sensitive/reactive combination skin prone to rosacea. For a few years now, fine lines and wrinkles have started to be an issue. Among other health concerns, I suffer from severe chronic pain and anxiety. It all takes a toll on my skin. I'm using the oil mainly on problem areas for now: around the eyes, between eyebrows, corners of my mouth, my neck and some times my hands. It's very easy to use, a very fluid oil of great quality that leaves the skin satiny soft. Also, it really smells amazing!!! Kind of sweet and addictive. I can't help sniffing it every time I opened the bottle. I will purchase again.Next I'll make myself a serum with this carrot seed oil. I want to mix it with other carrier oils like jojoba, rosehips, hemp and carrot oil (macerated carrots in sunflower oil). For their effect on lines and wrinkles, I will add carrot seed essential oil and frankincense essential oil. Can't wait to try it!

Very smooth texture but smell like fresh vegetables. Will continue to use cause some effect even after few applications.

I used this after cleansing my skin in the shower, and I immediately noticed such a difference compared to other oils I have tried. This is so soft, and it gives your face a glow - a literal nourished & healthy glow. It felt so luxurious on my skin & I fell in love. The next morning, my skin still felt supple & looked beautiful & healthy. I then combined it with my sunscreen, serum & fluid moisturizer & it left my skin looking even more gorgeous and dewy. I haven’t bothered wearing my usual concealer, and I swear this even has made my under eye circles lighter (I combine this oil with Aloe Vera gel under my eyes) I’m nowhere near done my first bottle, but I purchased another because this is something I will not stop using. I’ve tried very expensive oils from Sephora that where all pretty useless & returned. This is such a great value for the amount of product your getting (a little goes a long way!) and it actually provides real results. I’m naturally blonde, so my skin is very fair and I often deal with redness- since incorporating carrot seed oil into my routine I can’t even remember the last time my face was red, which is pretty wonderful :) I will continue purchasing this over & over. I had heard that carrot seed oil helps with skin problems such us dark spots and wrinkles and I decided to give it a shot.First off, I was impressed when the company contacted me the minute I placed my order. Courtney and Nicole were very helpful! We talked about the product that I was about to receive and they gave me tips on how to use it.After using the product for a couple of weeks I am amazed with the results! I can see and feel the difference on my face! It looks younger, healthier and my dark spots are definitely less obvious!My 50year old skin is grateful!😊

Tried this product for the first time and bought it specifically for my damaged hair. It works amazing just apply it overnight and leave it in. No oily residue next day. I will definitely buy again. Thank you Leven Rose for this great hair care solution!
