Works for teaching small children.
I'm 🥊 coach for grade school kids in the Midwest (grade 3-8). I also do private adult sessions. That being said, this is great for children and the usual adult woman under 190lbs.I caution you, do not train really spazzy adult males over 190lbs. They will let off and blast you in the face and neck because they will miss. The pad is scaled small but if a solid striker has too much power and no control they will destroy it or slap you silly when they miss it.If you're holding mitts for men. Bypass this product and go for wider and thicker set pads. Hope this helps.

Kungfu kid
My daughter is taking karate and we use these regularly for practice. Hit space is smaller so he has tp be more precise in her hits.

My favorite mitts.
The media could not be loaded. I own and Head Coach a boxing gym. Out of all the mitts I've worked with in my career this are my favorite. Small but the padding works great. I do end up buying a new pair about every three months but I'm ok with that because of the price.

Got this for 9 bucks. The next cheapest in the budget focus mitt class is $16 from rdx, which has survived about a 200 rounds of work over the course of 2 years.Performance: Solid pop and reception consistent with mitts 50 to 60 dollars more expensive, which is way better than expected. The foam they use in the padding feels like the industry standard.Fit and feel: The surface actually has a nice contoured shape which fits well for the palm. The finger webbing is comfortable, although they are ambidextrous. There is a bit of slippage that could be fixed by an additional strap around the wrist.Durability: As you can see in the picture, the stitching integrity is not adequate for a piece of combat sports equipment. I want to say it survived about a dozen 3 minute rounds of light mittwork and no other forms of abuse before it came undone. Sad, because the striking surface itself looks well put together and shows no sign of wear.Overall: If you're a fan of cooking shows, this mitt in it's current production state is like a well though out and economical dish that has all the tools to win the weekly challenge...but the meat is still F@#!ing raw. So it has to be thrown out.If the stitching for the hand pocket is fixed, it would be the best value for the price range, hands down. Unfortunately, right now it's just another product to avoid. Spend the extra 10 bucks and get the rdx focus mittsVerdict: 2/5
