Yes. I would look into another product line. The Down to Earth line has really stepped my gardening skills up to the next level.

Q: Would this help with transplant shock for young indoor plants?

I use this any time I transplant or repot plants to help prevent transplant shock. But only at the time of transplanting as it needs to go down at the root level. If you try and go in afterward and give it to the plant you’re going to disturb the roots much more and make it more unhappy. If you’ve already potted up I’d recommend a very gentle fertilizer and disturb the plant as little as possible (keep it in one location or move it gradually so it doesn’t have to adjust to different light, etc.).

While Dr. Earth fertilizers often include a recipe on the bag to make a compost tea-like mix, I’d recommend using a super gentle liquid fertilizer. Superthrive is an excellent one for seedlings and one bottle lasts a long time as it’s very concentrated. It has instructions for seedling and transplant ratios.
