1/14/17 update - I changed my review from 3 stars to 4 stars. No, not because the maker asked me to or because I took any sort of inducement - I didn't. Reality struck and my "special use" clause I mentioned in my original review materialized. I plugged my phone the other night and had to leave early the next day for a trip. I have two cats and shortly after I fell asleep, the cats were screwing around, ran behind the nightstand and unplugged my charger. When I got up for my trip, the iPhone 7+ was at 12%. Normally, I'd be hosed because I was going to be traveling without access to power. But, I had this power case all charged up and ready to go and it worked great. I plugged my phone into the case and within 4 hours even with constant use, my phone was back to 100% - fully charged. So thanks to "Oldboy" for making a solid case that bailed me out!My original review:This case adds a lot of weight to an iPhone 7 plus. The case weight is listed as 4.2 ounce but it makes the 7 plus feel like a brick.Pro- Charged fairly quickly out of the box- Charged my 7 plus without incident- Uses the proprietary iPhone 7 cable- Nice quality and look- Great power back up in case you forget to plug in your cell phone (or it gets unplugged by two hooligan cats)Con- The case is a bit slippery and feels easy to drop. I was concerned that the added weight would make my iPhone more susceptible to damage if I dropped it, especially if the screen hits anything on the way down- The directions are badly translated from Chinese and don't make a lot of sense, you're sort of on your own figuring out the details of use- I agree with other reviewers that it is difficult to remove the iPhone from this case - you have to be very careful- NO protection for the phone at the top of the case where it slides into the caseI plan to keep this case but it will be a "special use" case for me that I'll use for trips or extended periods of time away from a power source so my iPhone has backup power. I plan to keep it in my travel bag. I'm waiting for the LifeProof folks to come out with their powered case for the 7 Plus. I had a LifeProof powered case for my old 6 and it worked well, was a lot lighter than this model but was also a lot more expensive.

First, thanks to all who answered my questionws. This batter case PERFECTLY fits my iPhone 7 Plus, A bit thik, but I don't mind. After one week's use, working great. Only recommendations are to make it easier to remove phone from back, and additional LED on the battery case to provide status of charging. Would have given it 5 stars if easier to remove the phone. But, there is a method I developed which isn't too difficult: I "fold back" the upper sides if the battery pack and push the phone out by its camera; only a tiny bit, as you don't want to break the charger pin.. Hell, now that I've read this, I give it 5 stars. David

Great charging capability but the on/off switch is too easily activated. It should have a long press to turn on battery drains unnecessarily. Case activates in pocket, simply by picking up phone and touching button etc. That's my only gripe. Just update with a longer "on" function and not a simple tap. ThanksUpdate: Phone dropped and screen shattered, case design flawed also. The upper portion of the case leaves the phone exposed which renders it useless in effective fall protection. Returning product if possible.

Been using it for 4 months now. Some would say it's on the heavy side but I don't mind gives me extra power for days. Love the lightning connector and the automatic shutoff feature once my iPhone is fully charged. I actually love the weight, I don't check my pocket as much when I use my bumper case, the weight reminds me that its there. I like that 👌🏻

Item was fine but they didnt explain how to use it or how easily it could be damaged. We put the phone in to charge it but because its 1 piece and very difficult to remove the phone, in removing it the charge prong was broken, love the concept but ended up getting another, paid a little more but it has 2 pieces, you can remove the top end and slid the phone straight out, works great.

I like the fact that it's just one piece, no additional clip-on at the top. The charge is very good, Iphone 7plus go fully charged and the indicator light so maybe can charge the phone twice,, hopefully. The feel of the case is also very smooth, comfortable and easy to hold

DOES NOT WORK

A little difficult to remove phone once in case and makes it very think but gives you many more hours of usage. Using it fir pokemon go because it drains my battery so quickly.
