Blue Sea Power Switch
I bought this to turn on/off my boat's main battery. It works just as intended. It has breakaway access locations on all four sides, so it can accommodate multiple different setups. Blue Sea is a very reputable brand in marine electronics, so I trust it will work well and last. If I recall correctly, it doesn't come with mounting fasteners.

These are great disconnect boxes
These work well for turning the power off on your batteries from the main circuits on your boat wiring

Excellent Quality Battery Switch
I installed this battery disconnect on my trailer mounted diesel generator. This switch permits prevents an accidental startup while accomplishing maintenance and also prevents the generator controller from draining the starting battery.

A marble? But it is at least it is Unisex.
It's not a marble... But it is at least it is Unisex.Thank heaven that its Unisex (see image of Amazon desc), as now I can feel confident switching the battery off myself, or allowing my wife to do it. Talk about piece of mind! Apparently it is a choking hazard for anyone under 3 who is really determined to eat a pretty big cube of plastic and metal! Don't you just love A.I.?Anyhow, the switch is really solid, terminals are hefty and up to the task. Seems like a piece that will be around awhile, and if it isn't, I'll come back and let you know.

Thrilled With This Switch - Exactly What I needed
My travel trailer has some parasitic loads (such as a propane detector) that are a constant drain on the battery when it's stored. I wanted a quick way to just isolate the battery from all circuits without opening up the battery box every time. This switch was the perfect solution.I did a lot of measuring and figuring before I bought all the parts, and everything fit together perfectly. I have a Group 27 battery, and I bought a NOCO Group 24-31 adjustable battery box so that there would be a little extra space in the end. I used a hole saw to cut a 2-5/8" hole in the end of the box, and mounted the switch with some stainless 10-24 machine screws. I used some red RTV silicone under the switch to prevent water intrusion into the box.The switch and the battery both fit with about 1/8" to spare. I used a 12" 4AWG cable to connect the battery to the input side of the switch, and connected my loads to the other terminal. I'm thrilled with how this came out. Made a very clean install, and now I can disconnect my battery with just a quarter turn of the knob. I couldn't be happier with this setup. Next I think I'll install a bulkhead connector for a smart charger so I can just plug that up to maintain the battery too.

Here's the hardware you'll need to install this switch
That's right, it's a very sturdy switch but it DOESN'T COME WITH THE SCREWS that close and mount the box to your vehicle (or boat). YOU WILL NEED four #10-32 x 3" long round head machine screws, and four #10-32 hex nuts (these will fit in the 3/8" hex recesses in the lower case. If you can't find the #10-32 screws you can also use #10-24.The 3" length screws will protrude about 11/16" beyond the case. I drilled matching holes in the fuse box cover of my truck and attached the battery switch with 4 more nuts and lockwashers. Use a different length screw if you need another mounting solution. Hope this info helps.
