PaddywaxCandles Haze Collection Incense Sticks in Glass Jar, 100-Piece, Tobacco Patchouli

I REALLY wanted to love this incense. Paddywax Tobacco Patchouli is my absolute favorite candle and room spray of all time. It smells almost exactly the same as my husband's Tom Ford Tobacco Vanilla cologne that drives me crazy it smells so good!! When I saw the incense, I was jumping for joy, as I burn incense every single day in my home (Nag Champa, Super Hit, Sandalwood etc). Sadly, this only faintly, and I mean VERY faintly, smells like the candles and room spray (but only when it is not burning). When lit, there is no detection at all whatsoever of Tobacco Patchouli. It is not especially an off putting scent, just hardly no scent at all. I even moved the burning stick to my small bathroom, and you could barely even tell there was any incense burning. On the plus side, it doesn't put off any smoke whatsoever, but the stick does burn all the way down. So, the only reason I give two stars is because the container is so darn cute and I love that the lid doubles as a burner. I will use these somehow, I guess in a small bedroom or bathroom, but would certainly not purchase again. BUMMER,,,, I was SO EXCITED about these :-/

I, like another reviewer, absolutely love the smell of the candle, which is why I decided to try the incense. I realize it would be near impossible to make a candle and incense smell exactly the same (different mediums, and all) but I thought they’d smell similar. They really don’t. That’s not to say the incense doesn’t smell good. It does. However, when I lit the first one, I noticed there wasn’t a lot of smoke and it smelled a lot like…well, smoke. I did catch the occasional whiff of the actual scent but not a lot. And the smoke smells nothing like how the stick smells in the container. I do like the glass tube it comes in and the lid that you can put stick in. More power to the people who actually counted their sticks. This was 15 bucks so I’m ok assuming all 100 are there. 😂🤷‍♀️. This is why I gave it 3 stars.

These incense are short and makes a mess with ashes while burning. The point of the top to place the incense in is not useful. Like I said the ashes drop everywhere and the incense is not of standard size so nowhere to place it so the ashes doesn't drop while burning.

I love the scent and I love paddy wax, but this product was damaged and every product I buy is broken when I get it. Such a bummer.

The lid has a place for the stick to stand once it's lit, but it is not small enough to hold it and the brass piece comes out of the lid. I would much rather have these as cones or traditional sticks.
