I had to tie knots in the string to make it tighter but once I did that the arrows shoot pretty far. I’m not sure the suction cup on the end works all that well in actually sticking to the target but that’s not the most important part for my kids, they just like being able to shoot it far

Kids had fun darting around but the suction cups sucked so they never used the dart board for points. Yet, Because its soft plastic it was safe to dart at anything.

Ok, I'm 52 and have 3 sons. We get together every week to play games. They play DnD once or twice a month and I have decided to join in. I'm going to surprise them and dress as my character for the 1st game. I needed a crossbow and this just looked like fun. It came in and my oldest boy stopped by and saw them. So the 1st thing we decided to do was have a duel. We stood outside for over half an hour shooting at each other. (FYI, I'm a better shot than he is, lol). My husband just shook his head at us. This was easy to put together and seems sturdy enough. I haven't put batteries in it yet to see it lit up. I'm am betting my nieces and nephews will have fun with them too when they come over.

Bought this a few weeks ago to take to my granddaughters out of state. Very cheaply made, too embarrassed to even give to my granddaughters. Just returned last night from trip and window to return is closed. Very disappointed.

Other bow and arrow kits from this brand are exactly the same, so the arrows work on each other's bows. The targets are also exactly the same. I appreciate when toys are replaceable and compatible, as kids will be kids, and even a tough toy will be broken eventually. The bows are made of thick plastic with visible, but not blinding, lights. The arrows get flung and hit everything from targets to the asphalt. They are pretty flexible, so it doesn't hurt too much to be hit by one, but at the same time, they take quite a lot of damage before breaking. The foam cans are a nice addition for a challenge. I wish the strings were more elastic. It takes a very tight strum to get the arrows to fling from far away. The elastic is the first to wear out, but that is easy to replace.
