Not compatible with everything
Compatibility is not the greatest tried to use it on a 2000 GMC B7 bus with a Catapillar 3126 diesel, would not communicate with the transmission or engine controller, have tried it on several international 3800s with the T444E and DT466 engines and it works ok on them, won’t fault it for the B7 as a GM tech 2 would not communicate with the engine controller either

Works when it wants to how it wants to
About half the time it will work and allow you to erase SOME codes,usually the ones that aren't really causing an issue.Detroit DD15 560 HP 1850 torque.

Works like it should
Everything that it shows on screen is wrong and won’t clear codes.Retried it on a different vehicle and it worked like it should, then I retried it on my diesel Jeep and it worked good and cleared the code that I was trying to clear earlier.

truck dies every time scanner is hooked up
scanner works fine to read and erase codes , its only when the truck is running and the scanner is hooked up , the truck would randomly die , i thought I had a fuel problem , starting checking everything , took me awhile to realize that with the scanner connected to the truck I would have this random events were the truck dies , no codes are given , When you unplug scanner . truck runs fine
