RemoEmperor X Black Suede™ Snare Drumhead - Bottom Black Dot™, 13"

I recently reacquired an old drum kit of mine that was being stashed at a friends house, and I decided to replace the 10” snare I had been playing with a new kit I’d bought with the 14” Ludwig snare that was from the older kit, which sort of demanded that I replace the old and worn out heads before incorporating it into my new kit. And because I always liked the black suede style of drum heads that Remo produces, I decided to finally give their Black X snare head a try, as I had been unable to previously because they don’t offer it for 10” snare drums. And hot damn, was it worth the wait! Admittedly, it did require a little more fine tuning then I usually feel is needed to get the tone and POP juuust right, but once I finally got everything dialed in just so, I really couldn’t be happier with how my snare sounds now, big and bad and forceful, and loud as hell haha. For real, it almost overpowers the rest of the drum set, almost but it doesn’t. No, it just sounds like i won’t have to worry about buying a new snare for a good long while haha. Long story short, I can’t recommend this drum head enough if you’re in the market for a new batter side snare head. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (that’s 5 stars, in case my emojis don’t come through in my review haha)

Took a while to get here, but so worth it! I finally found my sound, and it looks badass

Tengo una batería vieja y con este parche ha mejorado un montón el sonido. Muy contento con su calidad y su color.

Nothing to dislike about this snare skin. responds well to tuning, great sound, looks good, excellent attack and decay, couldn't ask for a better skin for my snare. I'm hooked on these from now on.

Su grosor es evidente al tacto (al sacarlo del empaque) y además agrega mucho cuerpo al sonido, además de una sensación de seguridad porque en efecto aguanta dinámicas más fuertes al tocar. Aporta buen timbre y buen look, el mío llegó con lo que se podría decir como un pequeño "recargón" en una parte cercana al aro (pero aún en la parte plástica), pero nada del otro mundo, no estaba roto y cuando fue instalado se desapareció ese ligero doblez, ya llevo meses usándolo y va de maravilla.
