I'll have to hand it to Amazon on this one. It arrived OK but upon unpacking was unfortunately damaged on the base of it. I contacted customer service and provided a photo showing the damage. I was compensated OK! I'm hoping to repair the damage and use it some more soon.Now as for the product... It's all working OK and is very effective for the hot weather. It's not refrigerative air con using a compressor, but uses latent heat of vaporisation from cold water in the tank being pumped over an absorbing material with air passing through it. It's certainly quieter than true air con and uses way less power. Ideal for on the landing to cool bedrooms and okay to bring downstairs to cool the lounge.It has a remote control and is very easy to use. I can move it with care if I need it to other rooms in the house.

There is nothing to dislike about this product it works so well once set up which is very easy to do. It’s amazing the cool air that comes out of the tower.You can sit in comfort even thought it’s very warm outside if you are like me cannot stand to much heat this tower is the answer.Low noise good value for money the remote is very easy to use,can easily be moved from room to room but probably when the water level is low or empty. But very good all round.

Maybe not as cold as I thought it would be but it does cool the room a little. It’s fairly quiet, it would probably be better in a smaller room to be more efficient.

I've had a lot of fans and this one is the most quite I've come across. The remote is fantastic because you can start it up high sweeping the room when you get into bed then turn it down and point it in one direction without bothering to get out of bed.ITS NOT AIR-CON BUT... we bought and ice maker and found that if you fill it with a bit of water and a pack of ice it will pump out beautifully cool air for most of the night and does feel like it cools the room down.

Well what can I say about this A/C unit! Absolutely worth every penny, it’s so simple to use. It’s so cool when using the water cooler and then it’s freezing when you put the ice packs in the water cooler. I feel the this is the best cooler on the market in its range!

After seeing this advertised on Highstreet TV I naively thought that it would be like an air con unit. However, despite the air coming out being cold it doesn't reduce the temperature in a room. It is essentially a tower fan unit with slightly colder air. The range of air distribution is narrower than a rotating fan, this reduces its effectiveness. However, it is easy to move and fill, the remote works very well and the overall quality is excellent, certainly not a cheaply made product, but misleading in its claims. But, it does work very well but only if you are next to it or within a couple of metres of its line of sight. Will persevere for now, but am considering returning it as it was expensive and I could have bought two pedestal rotating fans for the price.

Really does cool a room quickly. Can be used with cold water or add the included freezer blocks for quicker cooling. Has automatic timer function and static blow or oscillating to vary direction of blow. Had one downstairs for lounge garden room. After a night of humid heat and tossing and turning all night. I ordered two more one for each double bedroom. Well worth the money!

Strong fan and the cold water feature makes such a difference. Stylish and well-built, madey summer!
