Well, my kitty really likes them so it's easy to give them to her (she gobbles them up). Still need to verify that these help fight UTI infections. Anything to help her because when she gets a UTI, it hits her hard and is a definite trip to the Vet for antibiotics. Fingers crossed, no more UTI's!

Like most cat owners I consider my cat a part of the family and want to make sure that he stays healthy and happy. So, when I saw these urinary tract health cat soft chews from Vets Preferred I knew my cat Max needed them as he has had urinary tract issues in the past and that he would enjoy them as well and he definitely does! My cat loves these treats so much the very first day after trying 2 (he weighs 10 pounds so 2 a day according to the directions on the side of jar) he proceeded to try and open them himself even pushing them on to the floor hoping the jar would open! But he definitely loves them and I am happy that he does. I like how they have a safety seal on the inside of the jar. I like how they don't have a strong order to them, are easy for him to chew and digest and come in Chicken flavor which is one of his favorites. A great healthy chew that me and my cat Max highly recommend to any cat owner. 5 out of 5 stars from both of us.

Update 9/25/2022: As our older cat is the one having issues, I've been taking half a treat, crushing it, and mixing it with his food at least once per day. He immediately knows the treat is in there and crowds his sister out of her bowl. Then she eats it, but she isn't the one needing the benefits of the treat? Conclusion is the treats are kind of large for a cat. If you try cutting them in half, they break up. Even then the cats don't care for them.I ordered them for our 2 year old male cat who's having urinary issues. Much as I've tried, I have only been able to get him (or our other cat) to eat a couple treats. That was the first day, after that no way. Hence, I can't speak for their effectiveness as neither cat will eat them. They're rather large (for a cat) so I tried cutting into thirds thinking that would help. I'm going to try smashing them up to add with their wet food. I hate to think I spent $20 for something they won't eat. I know each pet is different, but both of mine refuse them.

The media could not be loaded.  My male stud gets repeated UTI’s. Studly is on Urinary health and sensitive stomach food. Studlly did not react well to the most recent medicine given for the last UTI. Studly foamed at the mouth and emptied his stomach with every dose and he got horrible diarrhea with the veterinary medicine given for his UTI. Studly is now getting Urgent Care wet food with probiotics and his stool is finally almost normal. Studly will be having another urine sample checked soon but in the meantime these Urinary Tract chews might be the ticket to Studly’s continued Urinary Tract health. Studly would not eat the chew straight up but he did eat the chew mixed in some wet food and he did not have any negative reaction to the chew. 60 chews at two a day. I will update this review in a month! So far, so good with the chews.

I only rated three stars as I am not sure if this helps. My cat eats them so they must smell and taste OK. Time will tell. If she goes for a long time without another UTI, I will rate 5.

The media could not be loaded.  Had to fight my cat to open the jar. He won't stop begging for it. I put it on the bed and he goes and scratches the jar, I put it in the box he just tries so hard to open it.He has urinary tract blockage before and I cannot give him any normal cat treats. Well, this UT treat is a good addition to help promote healthy bladder and UT.I am happy my cats love it.Smells like a normal cat treat (it's a softer chew) smells like dried tuna.The container is quite small though, I wish I could get more for the buck but being a specialized treat, I understand.Will order again.

Well princess likes it and it seems to work. She had a uti took her to vet and got meds for her so I'm sure those worked but we are using this for maintenance cause she had some crystals in there to. Poor girl feels better now.
