I got this set of silverware for everyday use, and I chose them because I like the idea of having unique black silverware. I don't need expensive heavyweight silverware, I just need them to work. And looking nice is just a bonus.I am not disappointed at all with these. They check all the boxes I need them to.They are lightweight, but they are metal and have been holding up well. No bending and they are just as strong as other silverware I've had. I have even used the forks to eat steak, and they have no issues at all. I was worried the color would chip or fade away after using or washing, but so far, after several washes (by hand), they still look as good as the day I got them.I like these enough that I am not letting the kids use them and lose them like they have all my other silverware - they can use the plastic stuff, lol.Overall, I think this is a great set of inexpensive silverware, that looks great and does its job well. I will probably buy another set just to make sure we have enough for when company comes over.

Easy to hold and clean, these are very sturdy

I ordered these to refresh my silverware prior to hosting Thanksgiving. The silverware is not a true matte black. You will not be able to buy a true matte black set of silverware at this price point. You would have to spend at least $80 for a 4 person setting in order to get high quality. With this silverware I was able to get a 12 person setting for that price. I handwashed and dried the silverware prior to hosting because I was worried about water spots. A month later, I have ran them through the dishwasher many times. I have not noticed much color chipping on the edges - but there is a lot of discoloration in the finish. The silverware itself is very heavyweight and expensive feeling. No rough edges. Good construction there. You get what you pay for so that is why this cheap set gets 4 stars from me! (Photo is silverware in drawer after handwashing and drying for the first time.)

These are such an improvement over our typical shiny silver utensils. They feel so much sturdier, they look awesome, and they go with everything I own (cups, bowls, plates, cookware, etc.). They do have a different curvature and design than typical utensils, and it just takes a few uses to get used to them, but I much prefer these than the old stuff. Also, they are a bit harder to wash only because the sponge doesn't glide as easily over them due to the finish; it's not glossy and shiny and smooth, but more like a matte finish.Overall I really like them and will enjoy them for many years to come :)

Cute & simple , work well.Not solid black though.

I ordered these because I was wanting to upgrade my current utensils. While they are a little smaller and a lighter than my previous utensils they are nice. I had to get use to that which didn’t take long.The matte finish is nice but leaves water stains and smudges easily. Although the instructions state to cloth dry them after washing I don’t do that. I wash dishes by hand (I’m old school) and I just let them air dry. The smudges and water stains don’t too much bother me.Overall I love these utensils. I do recommend. 👍🏾

This silverware set is fantastic. I don't think I have ever encountered black stainless steel tableware before but here they are and they are really neat. I was surprised how heavy these were in the package. They feel comfortable and stable to hold. As for durability; thus far they are holding up even after ten or so washes in the dishwasher. I hope the black on them lasts a good amount of use before eroding off. I just adore these utensils.
