I'm planning a trip to South Africa soon and thought it would be interesting to have a paper map of the whole country to help with planning my itinerary. Maybe it's just me but I much prefer having a paper map laid out in front of me instead of endlessly looking at screens.The map is of excellent quality and extremely detailed for the vast span it covers. It is also waterproof and tear-resistant which is a great bonus. It clearly shows the different provinces, towns and cities, detailed road system throughout, all the game and nature reserves including the very smallest ones, the general topography (mountains etc) and even includes sites of special interest such as San rock paintings.I plan on hiring a car and think as a general road map it will also be extremely useful.One thing worth noting however is the map is printed on both sides so you do have to flip it over and see the whole country in 2 parts.Overall I definitely recommend this map for anyone planning a visit to the country, or just for general interest.

Very clear and detailed map of good quality

Product arrived on time and in superb condition - only disappointment is that when the map is opened it is printed on two sides and doesn’t open up into a full map of SA. One side is East the other West

Used this map a lot throughout a 7 week road trip around South Africa. Detail is good enough to navigate your way around the country, it's hard wearing, thanks to its waterproof plastic coating it won't stain or rip. I didn't get lost once an we covered over 10,000 Kms :)

tHEY DON'T PRODUCE MANY ROAD MAPS OF SOUTH AFRICA,THIS IS THE BEST SO FAR.

Not as detailed as some but is a good map for planning and moving between main centres.

It's alright would have preferred it in book form preferably.
