My wife and I have been purchasing this product for years now as our degus love it. We have tried other brands which our goo's refuse to eat, so we always end up coming back to this. We can't give an opinion on the taste as we have never eaten one, but the quality and quantity you get is amazing for the price.

I rescued a degu from the SSPCA, no idea of his history, so it was a gamble getting food he'd like, but he just ADORES this stuff!comes in little cross shaped pellets. He loves them so much that he views them not only as normal food but treats as well, so i've been using these to get him used to me, and being handled, and it seems to work a treat. (obviously i give him less at his daily meals when i give him them as a treat, as i do not want a fat degu!)feeding guide: 10g per adult degu per day - this works out at approx. 38-40 pellets a day.my degu prefers to get fed twice a day, so he gets about 18 twice a day, plus his diet is supplemented with hay, which is very important.so i'm happy to say i recommend this product! Ok, it might not be for all degu, like any animal (or human) they might decide they don't like it, but i think it's a good bet, and it's a huge supply, so it should last a good while!

The only food my degus will eat. I tried different brands but accoring to them this is the most delicious brand. Recommend.
