It's essential reading to understand the middle ages.
In the middle ages, A. was "the philosopher", the ultimate authority on everything. Why? He was tutor to Alexander the Great, conqueror of the world. Obviously he -knew- things about politics, statecraft and war, and he wrote them down in these works. Those parts are not obsolete, even now. A. also -used- his rep[utation and wealthy patrons to collect all human knowledge and summarize it. These works are his lecture notes, carefully preserved by his students, copied manually during all the years until the printing press. As lecture notes they are sometimes brief to rudeness, but remember, brevity is a beloved virtue when a book must be copied by hand.

Aristotle, what else can be said?
Aristotle is the father of all modern science and sat the basis for many modern disciplines in science, logic, phylosophy and arts.Having all his works collected in a single volume that you can carry around with you to read is unvaluable. His works are sound, sensible, well developed, easy to read and always to the point.I think everyone can find something useful in his works. Not that you need to read all, but surely you will find one dealing with some topic of your interest. His views, obviously, date from more than two thousand years ago, but many are still as valid today as when he originally exposed them.
