didnt fit my water filter jug
I have a Aqua optima water jug and purchased these thinking it would fit considering it is stating its a universal water filter and its made by same make as my water filter jug and also looking at the picture of the cartridges it looked like they would just twist into the jug,but they didn't fit so no longer no good to me

Excellent value
These fit better in my Tesco jug than the Amazon Basics ones. It's true that the water seems to take longer to treacle through like other reviewers have pointed out, but eventually it does happen, and I don't think that's a bad thing, quite the opposite, obviously there is plenty of stuff i the filter to provide a good filtration. I can't see any difference in the taste of the water compared with other filters I have bought in the past. All in all I am very pleased and shall carry on buying this product. I have asked the manufactured where the the filter are produced and they were a bit vague and I quote "We currently have 3 manufacturing centres two in the Far East and one in Europe."

Not as good as most universal filters
I have a Brita Classic water filter jug. I refuse to pay the high price for the Brita cartridges and generally I can find universal alternatives which are just as good but much cheaper. Unfortunately that is not the case with the Aqua Optima ones. The price is good but within a few weeks of use I noticed 'scum' starting to appear on the surface of tea (I live in a hard water area). I will not be buying these again.

Clearly good 🥛
These water filters are a perfect fit for our original Brita water filter jug and are much more economic than the branded ones. They work well. I live in a hard water area and it is noticeable the improvement they make to the water quality. I am so impressed that now I have changed jugs to ones that take a different shape filter, I have sourced compatible ones from the same range as this.

Just as good as the Sainsbury's home filter.
The wife & I have a Sainsbury's home water filter & it has been nigh on impossible to get any filters from the stores.I took a risk on buying these & we are well impressed.They fit the hole perfectly if not better than the proper ones & the water tastes just the same my wife says.I shall be getting these in future as they work out cheaper than the Sainsbury's Home brand.10/10
