My first ukulele and I'm learning so much and this instrument is beautifully built (from my research, the previously reviews are accurate about it being a great starter ukulele:)

i've been learning the classical guitar for a few months now & i try to practice every day. when Amazon Vine offered me this ukulele, i was curious and i ordered it.first off, it's much smaller, about 1 pound and 24 x 8.5 inches. the tuning is that weird uke tuning G-C-E-A (guitar tuning is E-A-D-G-B-E), so i downloaded a uke chord chart. with the chart, i looked up some uke tunes from you tube & with a 4 chord song with a 4/4 strum, i was able to play my first tune.this will be fun to play & with it being so small, i can easily carry it along on travel or camping trips.the uke also comes with a good case & a strap.

I recommend using a violin coating on the outside before playing to protect the wood there is no coating whatsoever to protect the wood from moisture and oils from the skin. Highly recommend as an affordable musical instrument for people wanting to eventually move up to a professional model.

This is a very light and user-friendly ukulele for anyone to pick up and start learning on. I'm an intermediate player and only have one ongoing problem that I cannot seem to fix. I play left-handed strum and right-hand fret and there seems to be a problem with the string closest to the floor. Since day one, this string would come out of tune easily without much effort. I tried tightening it and couldn't manage to resolve the issue it only seems to be this string and after a few strums, this thing needed to be tuned. Comparing this to another ukulele I own, I've never had an issue with this and could easily stay tuned even after playing it for an hour.I'm still giving this one 4 stars as the design is nice, and the strings ring out as clearly as you would expect them to when in tune. Additionally, I do not know for sure if I just got a bad ukulele that has a terrible bottom string or if this is a common issue with this type of instrument so I cannot give a lower score without knowing that fact. Overall, it's a very durable and lightweight ukulele which makes this a perfect beginner instrument for kids and adults alike.

Crazy as it may sound, I have always had a slight hankering to mess around with a ukulele or a banjo or something of that sort. I have no idea whether I'd be any good trying to learn it, so I certainly didn't want to spend a fortune. Up to now I have never seen anything at a really good price that looked like it may be any good. I saw the ZJW ukulele and decided to take a chance on it as the price was really good.To be brutally blunt I was really expecting very much from the instrument at this price point. However, I was blown away by just how well and professionally this instrument was constructed.The flame maple finish is absolutely gorgeous. Despite the price point it does not look as if anything has been scrimped in the construction of the ukulele. It not only looks very good but is very well made. The company obviously takes pride in the instruments it makes.In addition to the instrument itself, there is a carrying bag, a strap, a couple of picks, a microfiber cleaning cloth, replacement strings, and an electronic tuner. The tuner comes with a button battery provided so you won't need to hunt around for one.Overall, I am extremely pleased with the quality of this instrument and when you factor in the price point, it's a bargain. If, like me, you have always wanted to play an instrument but didn't want to spend a fortune, then I recommend you consider this ZJW ukulele.

The uke came well protected in a box inside a bigger box. It arrived in perfect condition. It’s very attractive. It came with a strap, a tuner which is very easy to use, a dusting cloth for wiping down after each use, and two picks. It has a fabric zippered case with an outside zipper pocket, a webbed handle and backpack type straps on the back. The tone of the ukulele is decent, better than I expected. If you are a beginner you will need to purchase a beginning instruction book but you will have everything else. I think it’s a good value for the money.

I was very impressed with the quality of this ukulele. I was thinking that it be more like a beginner one, but it is much better than that. Comes with everything you need to start your own concert.
