Cans damaged - several unusable as no longer airtight.
Outer box danaged as well as packaging if actual item. Cans were loose, dented, and several are unusable as they ste no longer airtight. Unacceptable in genersl, but in particular given the cost of this item. Please replace asap

Recent update to the Flaked Trout
I have one cat which is incredibly picky about his food. He will only eat trout flavors and this has been the ONLY brand he will eat. To such a degree that he will literally starve himself for days rather than eat any other wet foor or try his sisters dry food.The most recent delivery (April, 2020) had changed the recipe slightly in that they replaced the second ingredient from chicken to turkey.I feared the worst and that he would not eat it. However, he ate his full portion and didn't complain about it. There have been a few false positive results in the past where he will eat a new food once, but then never again. However, at this time, all seems to be well.Note: This was the first delivery of this product (out of 40 orders) that came damaged in transit. The box was mangled and the cans were dented heavily and thrown around inside the box. Amazingly, none of them opened and it seems to be cosmetic damage. Will give an update on how he takes the food and also if we find any spoiled cans.

It's a healthy, flake food with little gravy
Recently adopted my cats, and trying to figure out what they like to eat. They liked this food okay, but I won't get it again for three reasons:1) This food is rather dry for canned cat food. The meat itself is moist, but it's like there's no gravy.2) The can sucks for trying to get the food out because there's a lip on the inside of the top. With the dryness of the food, it's very hard to gently remove the food from the can neatly. We use a spatula to split large cans into two portions, and the spatula ends up flinging out food than pulling it out. Yes, a spoon would work, but the lip would still make it difficult to get the food out efficiently.3) Because of the lack of gravy to stick food together means that the cats fling food bits outside their bowl often.So, if your cats don't like the pate-style foods or don't like overly-moist foods, this could be for your cat. Blue Buffalo, consider another can design without so much of a lip.

Something my picky cat will eat most of the time
It would be cheaper to purchase fresh trout and make my own, but this is one of the few canned foods my cat will eat most of the time.
