Salter BW05394, Stainless Steel, Multicoloured, Knife Set with Smart Block

For this price, I feel this set is a catch. Looks stylish and made from quality material. The knifes cut food with ease. There was one review here complaining about the board being "unhygienic". Well, you can clean it like you clean regular kitchenware, don't we all? Besides, for the price, I won't mind throwing out the board if need to and keeping the knifes because they are worth it.

I’m very pleased with this knife set and surprised at the price I paid for them. I’d heard of Salter before so felt they would be good quality knives which they are. I liked the black blade and branding on the knives and read reviews of people cutting themselves just getting them out the box so it seemed they must be very sharp! Very happy so far

Have been using these knives for a few months thought the black coating would come off but they are still like new very shape and efficient. The locking knife block is a great idea as little hands cannot take them out when kept on the kitchen counter. Look great and work well would recommend a try !!

Holy cow are these badboys sharp i wasnt expecting much given their price but man was i wrong. Upon first use my girlfriend not realising that knives can be sharp tried opening a lettuce wrapper and accidentally stabbed her finger nothing too serious, and not to worry i cut myself trying a life hack and forgetting to move my finger out the path of the blade and yep rookie mistake. But other than that i would definitely recommend these knives although I must warn you they're super sharp out the box.

Great looking knife block. Takes a bit of getting used to with the knife locks but looks fab . All the knives are practical and sharpHaven't had to clean it yet but at least you can't see the muck ! Lol

Fabulous product, I was mainly interested in the knives and the board was a bonus but it’s also fab, slip proof and of good quality. A win win

Amazing sharp knives but also gives me peace of mind that my 4 boys cannot take the knives out, especially my 2 boys with autism if they manage to get to the kitchen on their own

Blacking on handles has flaked off less than a year after purchase. They have never been put in dishwasher. Ruins the look of what are perfectly good knives. Disappointed.
