I've had several of the Midnite Manager pen-knives over the years. I've always replaced them if they get lost as I can't think of a more useful item to have. I must use it 10-20 times a day easily.I'm a computer consultant and the range of tools is ideal for me. The knife opens envelopes, packets and boxes sealed with tape and, with the wire stripper, is really useful when changing plugs etc. The Phillips screwdriver has fixed more computers and printers than I'd care to remember. The flat screwdriver is useful for....flat screws or prising open cases, and the file is great for keeping broken finger-nails from getting any worse. The torch is brilliant for checking inside computer cases or reading serial numbers under a desk, and I once got three people down six flights of stairs in a power-cut with it. Shine it along a floor and it picks out dropped screws or small parts really easily. The pen comes into its own when I have to sign for something at the door or write a serial number or password down quickly. Scissors are ALWAYS useful.When I'm not at clients I wear jeans and the MM fits beautifully in the small pocket on the right hip. I feel undressed without this knife at my side.

Very useful, exactly what i was missing

Over many years I have had several Swiss Army knives, and I think this is the best of the lot. It is small enough to fit in a little leather key-case with my front door key and my car key, and has a really useful range of tools. Many of these (knife, nail file, scissors, screwdrivers) are common to several different models in the Victorinox range, but this one has a couple of special features: a ball-point pen and a mini torch. The latter came as a lovely surprise - it was not specified when I placed the order for a 'Jellylite Manager' to replace the one I lost. The 'Midnight Manager' I received is a little bit thicker than the basic 'Manager' (to accommodate the battery), but brilliantly useful - I can even write notes in the dark!

Great product for the price

Bought this one for a gift. Have one myself for 14 years. Still going strong and in regular use. Over the years the sides have become detached and the retainer for the LED torch battery has gone AWOL. However the plastic sides have been stuck on and have remained intact. The Apart from that fault the only grumble is that I've not found a source for replacement pen refills; annoying as it is a useful feature. All the cutting, filing, levering and screwing bits still work like new. Recommended.

Superb product. Expensive as a penknife, but not as a pen, knife, torch, 2 screwdrivers, scissors, bottle opener, nail file... It gets used every day and is by far the best of all the Swiss Army knives I've ever used - partly because it is so small I can easily keep it with me all the time.

It has it all including a torch and pen and scissors and nail file and even more and it is so tiny it sits quietly in my pocket ready for any emergency.
