I've bought these several times to give as gifts but twice some have arrived shattered. The problem lies in the company's method of packaging them, because the cardboard sleeves that should hold each vase in its spot are not long enough so a vase or two can slip out and then crash against the others. I've been able to report this to Amazon and eventually get replacement vases sets at no additional cost, but that is a pain. The company keeps insisting it is the fault of UPS but I know it is the way the individual vases can come loose. I hope they will change that, because the vases themselves are charming and pretty.

The vases are really pretty and very high quality. Don't order these from Amazon, Amazon doesn't protect them adequately from damage during shipping.Portmeirion will not replace a broken vase unless you buy it directly from them. They know how to protect the vases from being damaged during shipping. Order them direcly from Portmeirion if you want to make sure they are protected properly.

My mother has a huge collection of Portmeirion dinnerware and was thrilled to receive these vases as a gift. They are really, really cute. She’s a green thumb and cannot wants to fill with flowers.

Bought this as a gift for a friend's 60th birthday. She was really pleased with it. When it arrived, it was well packed really well, to keep it from damage in transit and beautifully displayed in a pretty box. Each vase was well made as a miniature and ideal for little flowers from the garden. 😊

This is my daily china pattern. I adore the Portmeirion detail and colours. I have regular size flower vases but I do also like to have tiny vases for an extra bloom or two from my balcony flower pots, and have been using any old small shot glass or tiny bottle for this purpose. Now I have gorgeous patterned mini vases for my dining table, living room table, bedroom or bathroom. I bought an extra box, first with three for me, and the second box of three will be one vase each for my friends’ birthday presents. Sweetest gifts, economical to buy a box. The seller wrapped these extensively in extra bubble wrap to ensure they arrived in tact. They come in a gorgeous box. Do not hesitate!!

Lovely little vases, perfect for single stems or small posies. Before I unwrapped them I was certain they had broken in transit because I could hear them clinking against one another. Luckily it was just poor packing - make sure you ask for bubble wrap between and behind the items (inside the box) or they work loose and rattle around.
