A Little Different From What I Thought
Has a weird ("crystalized"?) look to it, with shiny flecks throughout. I own other Silver Ant stuff, and was expecting it to be the same look. It's also heavier than I expected. At first, I thought it wasn't titanium, and I'd only assumed so, based on past products. Ran back to the ad to check, and it says it's titanium. Maybe it's heavy because it's pretty thick? I run into that with titanium bottles and cookpots that are extremely light, but then have a thick, heavy lid. It IS pretty thick.Comes with a well-above-standard carry bag, like their other mess kits and cups. Love the stretchy mesh material, and it looks and feels like quality.I'd prefer it not to have the "crystalized" look, but it does look cool. I think I'd like the usual flat silver color of theirs and most other titanium stuff I have. And maybe thinner, so it would be lighter. I know it's a trade-off, because thinner titanium usually dents up pretty easily, and this doesn't seem like it will. Sturdier than usual.Wouldn't mind it coming with a lid, and maybe some silverware, but it's just supposed to be a plate. Wish I didn't just put all my other mess kit stuff in storage, with a bunch of things piled on top of the trunk it's in. Anxious to see if and how well it fits into my Silver Ant cookware set. Looks like it will. So, even though it doesn't quite fit my preferences and expectations, I can't deduct a whole star. I'll call it a 4.5. And, I think it's priced well for a titanium piece of gear, so that gets it the half star extra credit showing, instead of taken away. I'm guessing this is an improved version of a past plate they came out with, that may have dented easier, and they beefed it up a little. Just my guess. Wouldn't mind seeing the thinner one, if it exists, and hope to see more from Silver Ant in the future. Good stuff. 👍

Lightweight Titanium With Galvanized - Appearing Finish
I ordered this for camping. It is a perfect-sized plate with high edges that will double as a bowl. Typically, I prefer double-walled cups and bowls because hot items will cool quickly in titanium, and it can be difficult to hold the hot item with my hands. This bowl comes with a mesh bag to store it in when not in use. Titanium is very durable, stronger than steel, and doesn't rust, but it scratches easily, so the mesh bag is nice. This bowl is made of lightweight titanium. It doesn't rush and works great for beach camping, where salt quickly corrodes other metals, and the high heat makes most plastics too flexible. This bowl has an odd 'galvanized looking' finish. I've never seen titanium with this type of finish before. I generally prefer the matte silver titanium look. I graded this bowl down one star because of a rough spot where the top is rolled over on itself. Either the titanium wasn't cut precisely, or the rolling process didn't fold it under properly. I took a roto tool and ground off the burr. This bowl is not finished to a high degree, but the value pricing for an item like this makes this bowl a good one for camping.

Sturdy Bowl but light
When it comes to camping and more importantly hiking, having a useful but light weight object is key. This bowl from Silverant checks all of those. This bowl is light for its size. It feels durable and will not break or scratch after continuous use.The outside is a shiny flecked silver and it is easy to clean. It comes in a nice mesh bag to carry it.It is a good size for a dinner proportion as well. I have used one bowl at times for all meals and this will do the job.Overall, this is a well-made light weight food bowl for camping or picnics. One note is that TI is a good conductor of heat so the heat of a stew or soup will go right through this and hit your hand. Use carefully.

Works good looks great
I really think this is a decent product it feels well made comes well presented and I have allot of other titanium gear both crystallized and other finishes so it fits in really well I have there purple titanium spork also and use both daily to be honest in my line of work these types of EDC items really come in handy so far so good and I recommend both this and the spork silverant has been consistent overall so far with a few items missing the mark like any growing company.....and no i am not affiliated definitely recommend

SILVERANT Titanium Camping Plate, Titanium Bowls Ultra Thick & Durable Tableware
As described, but slightly smaller than I expected. Versatile enough to accommodate pretty much all types of meals from soups and porridge to sandwiches or pasta. The mesh carrying bag is remarkably high quality. A set of two or four would be more practical for my needs, but I guess it's nice to have an extra plate that can withstand cooking temperatures.

Excellent Quality
Silverant is a titanium brand I've grown to really like. They make some really high quality products, and I've owned several of them. I can verify they come well packaged (with a very nice drawstring bag), and are manufactured to superb standards. Highly recommend this bowl, and any of their titanium gear!

Nice Lightweight Bowl-Plate
First I have to say I love the draw-string bag this bowl comes in. My SilverAnt mug came in the same type of bag. They are nice and thick and do not add a lot of weight. They keep your items safe and easy to pack. This bowl is somewhere between a small bowl and plate. Very versatile. It is tough and lightweight at the same time. You can use this to reheat your food as well. I'm becoming a fan of Titanium camping dishes as well as SilverAnt. They have a really nice product line. Now I need a set of eating utensils to go with this. I will be getting more of these dishes to create a nice little set.

Almost a plate, not quite a bowl
This ultralight titanium bowl is almost a plate almost a bowl. It’s got a good size to fit a normal amount of food on it and it has sloped edges that are good to contain your food but not tall enough to make it a good bowl.It is very lightweight and comes in a very nice bag to store it. It also has a very high heat conductivity so it will transfer your hot stew into your hands.I like how lightweight it is, and how easy it is to clean. And I find myself using it more as a plate than a bowl. It would make a good addition to a very lightweight camping, set up where ounces matter.
