LGLW8023HRSM 7600 BTU Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Window Air Conditioner with Energy Save Function and ThinQ Technology (White)

I own Tecopa Palms Thermoplastic Hot Springs Resort located on the Southern edge of the "very hot" and sometimes "cold" Mojave desert. I bought 2 of these ac/ heater units - 2 years ago and installed 1 in each of 2 cabins. Perfect. From cold to hot they are the real deal. The control panel is easy to understand and easy to press this button for heat, or press this button for cold, and this button up or down for temperature. These units do not take a " senior electronics engineer" to figure out how to work the panel. I recently ( this review) ordered a 3rd unit. I installed it in a sea train renovation that we rent out.

The media could not be loaded. No assembly required btwThis is a A+++ ccu unit I call it . Climate control unit. Because In a few minutes you can easily go from heating to air conditioning back to heating in moments again .Isn’t new technology as a kid I lived with a heat pump but that was thousands included in house payments .So this absolutely makes a home of recommendation 350 sq feet totally comfortable in moments.I’ve been looking for anything but propane to heat and going back to the grid isn’t in my plans ever so this fit the situation. Only using 1280 watts of continuous usage is outstanding! Not running heat side from Solar today and don’t foresee it but works fantastically with my 1600 watt generator. Saved propane most likely will cover extra fuel used for generation but no electric bills is my main goal . Not going un noticed btwLast visit from them three days ago rechecked the lineThey don’t understand the outstanding efficiency of this new found treasure , I dreamed about turning this sorta air conditioner around as a kid so seeing it happen I had to save the under 500$ and buy it and so glad I did wow .I have a situation going on here whereas my neighbors have been really polluting my air so with propane had to have ventilation and loss efficiency and never was a fan of the gas fumes .Again with this new ccu I don’t have to do it’s recycling air saved us from the ongoing air assault's.So win win winAnother good discovery this air conditioning side uses 575 watts same as the unit I replaced but this is 50% higher cooling capacity yet uses same wattage so was delighted it runs off my Solar in perfect conditions while suns out between 11/4 most of the year in Florida off the grid btw!Why they are not happy lolBut nothing but good things so farOne noteworthy issue I learned with using a parallel system with Solar was that the wires must be a sizable distance between power sources because just the magnetic sine waves can Interrupt the generator and cause a glitch which a kilowatt meter picked up with flashing screen indicating a issue with power source so keep in mind to use conduit and properly space opposing power supplies .So to review ac side uses 575 wattsEasy to run off the sun in perfect conditions1280 heat pump side that I don’t see Solar powering overnight unless you’ve built a massive battery bank see a electrician or get a backup generator as I wrote about in my book Solar Independent Utility Systems ManualSo conclusion far better than burning anything for heat only thing that would beat this is a properly sized radiant heating system that uses the suns heat alongside its photovoltaic advantages. My next goal with geothermal alongside to replace this but until that dream happensThis is my answer for the foreseeable futureCan’t say enough about this outstanding ccuNo more propane tanks running outNo more feeding wood firesNow just time the generator usually five to eight hours depending on your temp setting. What ever you do, don't buy this product. This is my 3rd replacement unit in 1 1/2 months. The first one (bought on 8/20/2024) didn't work as it made loud noised and the fan was hitting the shroud and something in the casing that could not be fixed. The 2nd one (replaced on 9/3/2024) replaced on received doesn't blow any cold air. All it does is blow hot air. I have a floral cooler in this small room and it is causing now my cooler to overheat. The 3rd one (just received today 10/10/24) is also broke. See the pictures above. You will see that the compressor isn't even anchored down. The grill is bent, the plastic shroud is broke, the case it sits in is bent and the list goes on and on.Now on with Amazon to have someone pick up the 2nd one and this 3rd one. I don't have the the box for the 2nd unit and the units weight 130 lbs. Lets see how the service is to resolve the issue to pick these up as I will never use LG again.Buyer beware if you are looking for a good quality product.What ever you do, don't depend on quality for this product. As a business owner, I have paid my staff to be on the clock waiting for the arrival to help with the install and 3rd time around with this type of product being poor and damaged, is really sad for the LG company.

Let me start by saying I'm in florida. It has to be something powerful to cool us down. This device is on a poorly insulated front porch.Wow wow wow.She cools to the cool setting. Cycles on and off.For the 10 days a year were cold She heats it up not just takes the chill out, but heats it up. (Were not blasting it to 90s but a goodb73 will do.It cycles on and off keeping the room comfy. Not to much 1 way or the other, or some craziness that needs a babysitter.No more noisy than any other ac. Tells you when you need to clean the filter, and it don't lie.I found and ordered this ac here on Amazon. I swear on all that's good prior to it's arrival, I seen the EXACT same machine for DOUBLE in a big box storeI'm happy I kept my orderThe only 1 thing for people that's like me. I'm not a handy man. It is a bit heavy. My son built a deal to help hold some of its weight off the backAll in all we couldn't be happier with it.I can't say on if it did anything to my power bill.We were leaving the door open previous trying to make the house ac cool and the house heat warm it. And the same time we put that in we also put in a mini fridge so I'm not sure our bill changed much.

This air conditioner fit the bill for me. I was replacing a 22yr old through the wall a/c. This was the exact same size as the one that I was replacing. As a matter of fact the look and controls are almost the same. The difference is that this a/c also provides heat. I was able to remove the old one and replace it with this one with no modifications to the wall. This a/c is more quiet and was much needed. I would recommend this product for its features and quietness.

Very HAPPY with this purchase! It was exactly as described. With it being brought to my doorstep, it made everything do much easier compared to buying it in-store and carrying it home. Easy to follow directions and install.

works great,dont over size unit ,big mistake on my part,ac cycles way to much,should have got one with 1/2 the btu!!
