My 2015 Lexus ES 350 does not have a compatible car stereo to connect my phone either through carplay or Android Auto. The car was smooth but needed an AV upgrade and Travelplay 10.3 inch Car screen with the best fit - with its easy to install feature and large and sleek display screen to suit my car's overall look.The installation process was a super simple and took only 5 minutes to figure out. I had 2 options either to use the window suction cup to put it on the windscreen or mount it on the dashboard. I chose the later.I linked the wires to both the cigratte lighter and aux input, and the unit powered on immediately. My phone seamlessly connected to the device, and in just a few minutes, I had Google Maps and Spotify running through Android Auto! I also tried connecting the unit with my wife's iPhone and it worked through the Carplay app smoothly.The 10.3 inch screen offers a quality display that is adequately bright and easily readable. Although the screen size enhances readability, I would recommend to position it correctly to prevent blocking view of the road. That is the reason I placed it on the dashboard instead of the windscreen. The touch response is superb, and the user interface is straightforward and easy to navigate..The in-built speaker of the device is not the best of best quality but it is my last option after the car’s speaker.My car has a rear view camera so it is not currently useful to me. Maybe Travelplay should release an option with no rear view camera at a lowered price. But I like the fact that they have given so many additional value items like SD card and USB for recording and storing videos or music. It is indeed value-for-money from that angle.In conclusion, I am impressed with the device, considering its price point. The large screen makes everything easy to see and read. And the fact that I don’t need to remove or break anything in my car to fix this and it is done in 5 minutes makes it all the more worth it.In case you are planning to go for a factory setup, think again. It is 100 times more expensive with lesser quality experience as compared to this product.

I have a 2015 Chevrolet LLV truck and recently decided to enhance it with a GPS and Carplay audio system, similar to the built-in one in my car. I prioritized the ease of installation in my search and eventually chose the 10.3 inch Travelplay smart screen. This unit arrived i a well-packaged box(maybe I can even gift it to someone). The installation was straightforward, and I was pleasantly surprised to find an extra 64 GB SD card for storing routes and a 64 GB USB, which I plan to give to my friend to load his favorite music. The screen's 1024x600 resolution delivers sharp HD images. It takes a bit to connect initially, but then it integrates seamlessly with my truck, starting automatically with the vehicle. Its navigation is more precise and easier to see than on my iPhone 14 pro, and I appreciate not needing to use my phone while driving, enhancing safety on trips.The sound quality is exceptional whether it is the in-built speakers or through the Bluetooth connecting to me truck's audio system. with audio routed via Bluetooth to the Navara's excellent audio system.I have not yet explored the voice activation features using Siri or Google Assistant nor the Mirror Link to watch videos when my truck is stationary. Will try it out this weekend when I have my next night shift.Basically I wholeheartedly recommend the Travelplay Smart Screen 1-.3-inch unit if you're in the market for a portable easy-to-install, easy-to-use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto solution. It offers great value, works seamlessly, and has a fantastic display.

First off, this did not have a dash cam as advertised in both description and photos. On top of that, it seems incredibly cheaply made. The android auto seems to work pretty well but I cannot get audio through the Bluetooth in my car which was one of the features advertised. The reverse cam is also not working. It will show up for a moment then start flashing and glitching out completely. I even ordered a different camera and cables to try and still had the same issue. This leads me to believe that it is the monitor itself that is malfunctioning.On top of all these issues, there is no way to contact the company and returns are not accepted. I would STRONGLY advise against purchasing this product.

I turned on my phone's Bluetooth and WiFi, paired it with the unit, and set up the WiFi connection. The unit was ready in a few minutes. I use a iPhone phone, and Google Maps and Apple Music work perfectly. The car’s microphone and steering wheel controls still function for calls and music.I've never had a car with a screen, and buying a new car in this economy is tough. So, I spent a little over $100 on this screen and now have everything I wanted without spending thousands. Now, I can see a map while driving without using my phone. Highly recommend this for anyone with an older car that lacks a touchscreen or CarPlay!
