The only gripe is that it is not quite as big as the pot teapot it replaced but even so it is big enough to fill two large mugs. It is a great pourer, no more dribbles of tea dripping down the pot as with the old teapot. It is also very easy to clean and does not stain like a traditional stoneware teapot. It feels a bit delicate but has been in use for some months now and is stowed on a granite worktop but seems to handle everyday use - keep meaning to buy a soft stand to rest it on as I feel eventually its going to get dropped a bit too hard one day and shatter. The inner stainless steel teabag holder lifts out easily and is easily cleaned. It also separates the infused tea from the bag (or leaves) and prevents 'stewing'.

I recently purchased this beautiful teapot, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. Not only is it visually appealing, but it is also highly functional. The transparency allows me to see the tea steeping, adding to the overall experience. I highly recommend this teapot to anyone in search of both aesthetics and functionality.

This is gorgeous. When it arrived I thought I’d been sent the wrong one as it seemed very small but once I’d filled it I realised I was wrong. It holds a good amount and because there’s no infuser the leaves are able to circulate and brew properly. It’s gas hob safe too, I’ve made my favourite milky chai tea on the hob and it came out perfectly, with the handle not being too hot to hold either. The BEST thing about this is how easy it is to clean: unclip the filter from the spout and drop it into the main part, pour out the leaves into a sieve and then wash the pot and filter. I used it for loose tea, worked nicely on my gas flames. It boiled and was ok.I didnt buy the one with diffuser but it had a strainer at the tip.*The strainer is spiral, it could not do much for my loose leaves. I had to use another strainerThe capacity of the kettle cannot be reached because the water will pour out once it gets to the nozzle of kettle. No good for volume but will work on hot surface and serve 1 person.

The teapot arrived quickly. First reaction was I loved the look, when I held it, it felt lighter then I assumed and I thought on direct flame this will crack. Very carefully washed it and made a pot of tea on a very low gas flame and slowly turned the gas to max...... nothing to worry about pot was fine and has been great (had it 3 weeks now) I dont store this pot in a cupboard it stays out on display I love it that much! I know, sad but true).If your tired and dying for a cuppa... bit of a long process then wacking on the kettle and chucking a bag in a mug while u nip to the loo, can't do that with this pot.Overall it does not feel sturdy but it is, and takes more time to make tea but for me, I make the time, if u have a busy household lots of kids I would probably get this pot and use it for me time only.I love it, recommend it and would buy again.

This teapot has pleasantly surprised me. It has a straight and steady pour, the filter reaches low into the pot to ensure steeping continues for all of the water and there is no leakage when pouring. Not always the case with previous models!The larger size means it doesn't need to be filled to the top to get two really generous cups of tea as it is quite heavy if you do fill it to the max.I've had many glass teapots over the years and have tended to go for the smaller size, however this one has shown me a larger pot with less filling of water gives an easier experience and a really good cup of tea. A second steep works well too.Highly recommend.

Straightforward glass teapot with a bamboo lid. What could go wrong? Well, the lid is badly made and has come completely apart in two months of use. This replaced one that I had used for four years.
