Women's Plus Size Dresses Polka Dot Printed Retro Rockabilly 40s and 50s Vintage Bridesmaid Dresses

Although my measurements (45"/39") fit the size 16, I felt I should go down a size with this dress. Unfortunately, there were no 14's of any color in stock so I went ahead with the 16. As I suspected, it's large on me. No stars off for that since I knew I was taking a chance. The back is built pretty much like the front, but with smaller darts. If you are small busted and the front is too full for you, frankly I'd turn it around and wear it the other way. Either way, the front and back flaps are open so you will need to tack them together yourself. I'd rather have it this way so I can tack it to my frame myself.The fault I do find with the manufacturer is the waist and the belt. First, they didn't line the belt so there is no way it will ever stay flat on someone. It will definitely crunch up together. Second, the waist is way too high. I have one photo with one hand showing where the waist of the dress is and one where my own waist is. I am only 5'3" tall and am NOT long waisted. In fact, I even raised my hand a little to show the very highest part of my waist. If you like it right under your bust, that's fine, but it is not at pictured. Since this is 100% polyester and thin, it has a LOT of static so have your can of anti-static cling spray handy. I tried it over a petticoat and not only did it stick all over the place, but the weight of the fabric kind of flattened the petticoat. You will definitely need a slip under this as it is just sheer enough in the light to see your frame through the skirt. The skirt is nice and full with plenty of room to wear one (or two) petticoats).I'm kind of on the fence about keeping this dress, but it was only $15 and Summer is coming so I may find a use for it.

Very very happy! Bought size 16 (XXXL?), wish I'd gone down a size (5' 4" 160lbs 40"ish bust. 31"ish waist) but better safe than sorry on size because similar items run really small.. But no worries: just one stitch each side @ under arm & voila! Perfection! Or wear a shrug/cardigan.

Buyer beware! The phrase “you get what you pay for” highly applies to this product. I ordered a size up from what I normally wear, because I know these cheap dresses tend to run a bit smaller. The dress arrived, and they sent me a size 18, when I had ordered a 20. It was waaaayyy too tight (pretty much a size 14), and to add insult to injury, there was a sizable rip where the zipper was, which was only made worse when I had to pull the dress off. I am not happy.

I followed the size description and checked my measurements. I ordered the size accordingly. Tried the dresses on and they were snug. The material had no give. Gonna attempt to wash and hang dry to help loosen up the dress material to see if it helps. If not, someone is getting free dresses.*I don’t see an option for returning the dresses*

Love the flow. Love the fit. Sexy and satisfying to wear. Casual or dressed up, it is so pretty. I loved it enough to buy in a couple colors. I only wish they made these in more colors/patterns. Dresses are tough to find that fit in all aspects and this doll does it all!

I am a 44DDD and my boobs were very smooshed. The waist was tight but the rest fit and flowed great. I haven’t worn it again after Halloween.

Love the pattern, but the dress looks like the waist should be a lot lower than it it, it's just under the bust. Also, the material in the cup is not that generous, but is too big under the arms. Will be returning

Cute enough dress, but they sent a UK24 and not a US24 as expected. There's no stretch to the material, but I JUST fit at 5'10 and 320lbs. The material is stiff and not soft; it'll be good enough for one night for a costume, but wouldn't last beyond that. You also need to buy a petticoat otherwise it falls flat and sticks to your body. I wouldn't recommend; the dress broke after one night of wear as expected.
