Strong sprung airtight seal seems to do the job well. The spoon provided is OK for a cafeteirre but for a single mug using a filter pot it's a bit big. Quite heavy and well made.

Quality storage containers for my ground coffee orange for ordinary blue for decaf. On the expensive side but as the saying goes “You get what you pay for”

It's a nice pot. I bought the blue one. I like blue. I have no idea what the freshness valve is supposed to do, but I will take their word for it. It is a sturdy pot and sits on my worktop. Which is a bit of a problem as within a few months the blue colouring has started to come off and stain my light coloured worktop surface. Some how this colouring is indelible on my worktop, despite not having stuck to the pot! The calendar wheel is an interestingly convenient feature. Or it would be if it hadn't stuck in place the first time I adjusted it. So now it's stuck on the first date I set. In summary it is a pot to keep my coffee in... and, well that's it really.

Item arrived in great time, as to be expected these days.The tin its self looks great, lovely design and very handy date and time dials.My only complaint is stating 5 feet away I can smell my coffee. Surely if this is an air tight container I shook uld not be able to smell my coffee from any distance never mind 5ft away?!I contemplated returning as I would class this as a faulty product, but as my wife has said, the rate at which I sup my beans its not worth the effort and to just buy a better one in the future.As I write, looks great, good for short'ish term storage but don't expect it to stop beans or grounds going stale in the long term.

The canister has a good tight seal which keeps the coffee fresh and has a useful dial to record the date of storage. I buy coffee beans in 1 kilo bags and bought two of these canisters which hold 500g of beans. A worthwhile investment.

This is a good-looking sealed canister that stores my ground coffee well.However, the lid itself is out of alignment by a significant amount (almost a centimetre overhanging on one side), and although it seems there is still some sort of seal, I do not think there is very good quality control for this product. Hopefully other customers do not face this issue.

The coffee gator is a must if you use ground coffee. I bought 2 in different colours as my hubby uses decaf and I normal ground. It keeps the coffee fresh and looks good alongside my coffee machine. Why did I wait so long for this

I have only had the tin for a few days so I can't really comment on the quality of my coffee yet however, it is a well made beautiful storage container for your ground coffee and would grace any kitchen counter. Not something you want to hide in the cupboard.I did have a small issue but the company sorted it out quickly with grace and efficiency. I would trust this brand wholly.
